The rim has a first plurality of ribs projecting generally upwardly therefrom such that first spaces are formed between adjacent ribs. The second container includes a second continuous body portion and a second rim. The rim has a second plurality of ribs projecting generally upwardly therefrom such that second spaces are formed between adjacent ribs. The second rim and the first rim are shaped substantially the same. The first container and the second container are adapted to be releasably lockable to each other by fitting the first plurality of upwardly-projecting ribs into respective second spaces and fitting the second plurality of upwardly-projecting ribs into respective first spaces. The first container may be shaped substantially the same as the second container.

    摘要: An improved lithographic dampener of the type having continuous plate/form roller/metering roller contact, adaptable to a variety of press configurations and operating speeds, employs a friction-driven oscillator roller that distributes added dampening liquid and the ink/liquid emulsions on the metering roller, to avoid continuing patterns which might cause ghosting in printed images. The dampener has a simple drawer-like configuration, with an open front for improved range of form roller/plate contact. A pan with a remote supply of dampening liquid, is located under the rollers such that the metering roller surface contacts and picks up liquid from a pool in the pan. Simplified seal dams at the ends of the form/metering rollers' nip keep the reservoir of liquid in that nip, yet minimize wear of the seal configuration. A slide block mounting of the metering roller and oscillator rollers allows independent adjustment of pressure at the form/metering rollers' nip, and at the metering/oscillator rollers' nip.

The method includes establishing at least one criterion for determining whether the loin of a carcass should be boned. Data is then collected from the hog carcasses relating to the quality of the hog carcasses. Next a determination is made, based on the criteria, whether the loin of a selected carcass of the plurality of hog carcasses is appropriate for boning. If so, the break point of the selected carcass is adjusted appropriately.

    摘要: A method of opening a container assembly comprises providing a container assembly with first and second containers. Each of the containers includes a continuous body portion and a rim. The rim encompasses and projects laterally outwardly from the body portion. The rim has a plurality of features projecting generally upwardly therefrom such that spaces are formed between adjacent features. The first and second rims are shaped substantially the same. The containers are releasably engageable to each other to form the container assembly by fitting the respective plurality of upwardly-projecting features into respective spaces. The container assembly is opened by exerting downward pressure on one of the continuous body portions resulting in the disengagement of the first and second rims from each other.

    摘要: A dampener activation apparatus is disclosed for engaging and disengaging a dampener with a plate cylinder of a printing press and for engaging and disengaging a drive gear with a roller in the dampener. The drive gear is driven to rotate about a shaft supporting the roller by a press drive train. The drive gear is also axially moveable on the shaft to engage and disengage the form roller. A first actuator is mounted to a dampener side frame and configured to translate the drive gear on the shaft to engage and disengage the form roller. A second actuator is attached to the printing press and configured to engage and disengage the dampener with the plate cylinder. A compressed air supply is in fluid communication with and configured to control the first and second actuators.
