摘要： An image processing apparatus adds a plurality of input digital chroma image data and input digital luminance image data during a back porch of the input image data and outputs average value data. A subtractor subtracts the average value data, from the input digital chroma image data and input digital luminance image data and outputs data, using a first subtracting method for the chroma image data and a second subtracting method, different from the first subtracting method, for the luminance image data. A memory stores the data output by the subtractor. The input digital chroma image data and the input digital luminance image data are sampled at a frequency an integral number of times as great as a frequency of a subcarrier, and are added.

摘要： A video signal recording apparatus includes a first memory arranged to store an image signal and a second memory arranged to store an image signal outputted from the first memory. These memories are controlled in such a manner that, if a new image signal is inputted to the first memory while the second memory is still in process of storing the image signal outputted from the first memory, a storing action of the second memory is suspended, so the new image signal can be stored in the first memory even while the second memory is in process of storing the image signal.

摘要： A film adaptor, to be used in combination with a still video camera, for recording an image from a conventional photographic film using the still video camera. The film adaptor has a recording button and an erasing button. By depressing the recording button, the image on the film is recorded by the still video camera and is reproduced immediately thereafter, for confirmation of the recorded image. If the image is considered unnecessary, the erasing button is depressed while the recording button remains depressed, whereupon the recorded image is erased. The film image recording operation is therefore conducted in a simple manner.

摘要： A recording system comprises a non-volatile recording medium, a recording device for recording information data on the recording medium, the recording medium including a first recording area in which to record the information data, a second recording area in which to record data indicative of an erased area in the first recording area, and a third recording area in which to record data indicative of a use status of each area in the first recording area. The recording device is operative to detect from the recording medium the data recorded in the second area and the data recorded in the third recording area, and perform erasure of, and recording of the information data in, a recording-enable and unerased area in the first recording area. A data processing apparatus comprises a detector for detecting whether a non-volatile recording medium has been attached and an erasing device for erasing information data from a predetermined area of the recording medium, less than the entire recording area, according to an output of said detecting means.

摘要： An image signal processing device having a frame memory which includes a first-field storage area for storing a first-field image signal and a second-field storage area for storing a second-field image signal and is capable of storing an image signal for one frame is arranged to cause the frame memory to store the image signal for one frame by every field in separate storage areas, and, after that, in reading out the second-field image signal included in the image signal for one frame stored in the frame memory, to temporarily store in the first-field storage area the second-field image signal which has been stored in the second-field storage area, and then read out the second-field image signal. This arrangement enables the device to efficiently use the memory and to stably output the image signal without any image turbulence. The arrangement thus enhances the operability of the device.

摘要： There is provided an erasing device for erasing the recorded signal in each recording block on a recording medium such as a still video floppy which can individually record the signal into each of the recording blocks. The erasing device comprises: a discriminating circuit to discriminate a recording state of each recording block; an erasing circuit to generate an erasing signal; and a controller to control the erasing circuit in accordance with the result of the discrimination of the discrimination circuit. With this device, a state in which the memory area on the medium is erased can be obtained in a short time using little energy.
