    摘要: A formatter 2s13 is provided and, when a code sequence which matches a part (‘00’) of the head of a predetermined code sequence detected by a start code prefix detection unit 2s3, is detected, the start code prefix detection unit 2s3 detects the residual part (‘00’, ‘00’, ‘01’, ‘E0’) of the detected predetermined code sequence to detect a pattern of (‘00’, ‘00’, ‘00’), and the formatter 2s13 outputs one (‘00’). After the boundary of packets is defined, amongst data which are not transferred to a decoding buffer 2s9, data corresponding to code sequences other than the code sequence (‘00’, ‘00’, ‘01’, ‘E0’) indicating the packet boundary are output to the decoding buffer 2s9. Therefore, when separating a coded and multiplexed signal, control of an input buffer reading control circuit 2s4 is simplified, and thereby the hardware scale is reduced, resulting in an inexpensive apparatus for reproducing a digital code sequence.

    摘要: A video signal reproduction apparatus is provided for reproducing a multiplexed encoded stream including audio data, video data, sub-picture data, and additional information digitally encoded and multiplexed on a packet-by-packet basis. The multiplexed encoded stream includes a plurality of packs, each of the plurality of packs including at least one packet, the at least one packet including a packet header and packet encoded data. The packet encoded data includes at least one of packet audio encoded data, packet video encoded data, packet sub-picture encoded data, and packet navigation encoded data. The packet audio encoded data forms sub-picture encoded data, the sub-picture encoded data including a first reproduction unit and a second reproduction unit. The first reproduction unit includes a first unit header, first encoded bit map data, and first display control information, and the second reproduction unit includes a second unit header, second encoded bit map data, and second display control information. The video signal reproduction apparatus includes: an input processing section for adding a next-sub-picture reproduction unit pointer to the first reproduction unit; and a sub-picture decoder for decoding the sub-picture encoded data based on the next-sub-picture reproduction unit pointer added to the first reproduction unit.

    摘要: An image signal reproduction apparatus and an image signal reproduction method that can reproduce video signals at high speed with stability. A skip decoding field counter is set on the basis of a factor by which the reproduction speed is multiplied and the number of fields included in one frame image. When decoding of coded data corresponding to one frame to be decoded is completed, it is judged whether the skip decoding field counter is larger than zero or not. When the counter is larger than zero, the number of fields corresponding to a picture to be skipped is subtracted from the counter, and when the picture to be skipped is I or P coded data, the decoding is instructed, while when the picture is B coded data, the skipping is instructed. These processes are repeated until the counter becomes 0 or smaller.

    摘要: An optical disk comprising a disk-like body having two base plates made of synthetic resin and two recording layers formed on the base plates, respectively. The body is formed by bonding the base plates, with a spacer interposed therebetween, such that the recording layers face each other. The disk further comprises two centering members, each projecting from the surface of the center portion of one base plate. Each centering member is made of synthetic resin, and one magnetic member is mounted on the centering member. The centering member is inserted in a hole formed in the center portion of the body. The centering member has a center hole defining the center of rotation of the body, and also three projections formed in the surface thereof which faces away from the recording layer. The magnetic member has three engaging holes and is mounted on the centering member, with the projections of the centering member fitted in the engaging holes. Since the optical disk has magnetic members, one on each surface, it can be attracted to the turntable of a drive mechanism by means of the magnetic force exerted by the magnet fitted in the recess formed in the surface of the turntable.

    摘要: The invention provides a case for housing information memory media therein, having a base sheet which is integrally constituted by a first case section, a second case section and a third case section through a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion. The first and second connecting portions which are included in the third case section can be folded. When the base sheet is folded so that the first and second case sections oppose each other, a space is formed to contain the main formation memory medium therein. A flexible polyvinyl chloride sheet which forms a pocket is adhered on the first case section 14. The flexible polyvinyl chloride sheet is located on a surface of the base sheet which opposes a surface at which the space is formed to house the main information memory medium therein. A hole is formed near an opening of the pocket to extend through the flexible polyvinyl chloride sheet. A first engaging portion is adhered to a surface portion of the first case section which corresponds to the opening. One end of a band is fixed to the second case section. A second engaging portion is adhered to the other end of the band to be engaged with the first engaging portion. When the first engaging portion engages with the second engaging portion, the case is fixed such that the first case section opposes the second case section. Furthermore, an index memory medium housed in the pocket is prevented slipping out therefrom.
