    摘要: A molding machine includes a drive unit for linearly moving a movable body, such as a movable platen of a clamping apparatus. The drive unit includes a linear motor. The linear motor includes a linear movement body having moving-side magnetic-pole portions and supported in an axially movable manner, and a stationary body having stationary-side magnetic-pole portions adapted to linearly move the linear movement body. The linear movement body is connected to the movable body (movable platen). The linear movement body has moving-side inclined surfaces on which part of the moving-side magnetic-pole portions are disposed. The stationary body has stationary-side inclined surfaces which face the moving-side inclined surfaces and on which part of the stationary-side magnetic-pole portions are disposed.

    摘要: A drive motor has a shaft supported by a casing to be rotatable and movable in the axial direction over a predetermined stroke. A portion of the shaft is utilized in order to form a rotary motor section for rotating the shaft, and another portion of the shaft is utilized in order to form an electromagnetic plunger section for moving the shaft in the axial direction. The rotary motor section and the electromagnetic plunger section are integrally built in the casing. The drive motor is used in a drive apparatus for a pre-plasticization-type injection molding machine. The front end of the shaft is connected to the rear end of a screw disposed within a barrel of a plasticizing unit of molding machine. Through axial movement of the shaft, a resin passage of the barrel is opened and closed by a valve portion provided at the front end of the screw.

    摘要: Linear motor includes a moving member tapered relative to a traveling direction to provide a surface slanted relative to the traveling direction toward one end of the moving member, a stator having a surface that is opposed to the slanted surface of the first member and slanted relative to the traveling direction at an angle corresponding to the slanted angle of the slanted surface of the moving member, a field pole producing section for producing field poles on the slanted surface of the moving member, and an armature section provided on the stator and including armature windings so as to produce electromagnetic poles corresponding to electric currents passed through the armature windings. Thus, the moving member is caused to move relative to the stator, by exciting the armature windings to produce a linearly moving magnetic field. Due to the tapered configuration, magnetic attraction produced between the moving member and the armature core is partly split in the traveling direction, which leads to an increased thrust.

    摘要: Rotary synchronous machine includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a magnetic field core and an armature core magnetically separated from each other. The rotor includes a plurality of magnetic substance segments which are magnetically separated from each other in a direction of rotation but are magnetically coupled with both of the magnetic field core and armature core. The rotor and magnetic field core are arranged to cause an axial thrust to the rotor depending on the intensity of electric currents passed through filed windings. Namely, the rotor and magnetic field core are arranged in such a manner that magnetic attraction (magnetic coupling) occurs between the rotor and the magnetic field core in a same direction as a rotational axis or at a predetermined non-normal angle relative to the rotational axis. Thus, thrust is produced based on the magnetic attraction between the rotor and the magnetic field core, and this thrust corresponds to the intensity of the electric currents passed through filed windings. Consequently, a traveling position of the rotor in the axial direction can be controlled by providing the magnetic field cores adjacent to opposite sides of the rotor and appropriately controlling the intensity of the filed currents.

    摘要: A motor drive apparatus is provided in an injection molding machine in order to supply electrical energy to a motor. The motor drive apparatus includes an electricity accumulation unit for accumulating electrical energy; and an electricity accumulation circuit for accumulating in the electricity accumulation unit electrical energy regenerated from the motor during a deceleration period of the motor and for supplying the electrical energy accumulated in the electricity accumulation unit to the motor during an acceleration period of the motor. By virtue of the above-described structure, when a heavy member such as a screw of an injection apparatus or a movable platen of a mold clamping apparatus is moved at high speed in each molding cycle, at the beginning of movement or during an acceleration period of the motor, the electricity accumulation circuit adds the electrical energy accumulated in the accumulation unit to electrical energy that is supplied from a power source to the motor, and during a deceleration period of the motor, electrical energy regenerated from the motor is accumulated in the accumulation unit.
