摘要: A stroke length adjusting device which can be applied to a mechanism for converting a rotary motion into a reciprocating motion is disclosed. The device comprises two oil pressure chambers communicated through a bore with each other and a crank arranged between these two oil pressure chambers. A pressure balance between the two oil pressure chambers permits the crank to displace in its axial direction so as to adjust a stroke length of the reciprocating motion.

摘要: When a hybrid optical disc is loaded on a player, the next generation DVD layer is reproduced in preference to the DVD layer. Jump to the DVD layer is appropriately performed based on the content of the reproduction list held in the next generation DVD. The jump to the DVD layer is performed based on the command information (jump command) held in the reproduction list of the next generation DVD layer. When reproduction of the title specified by the command information is finished after the jump to the DVD layer, the process returns to the HDDVD layer, and reproduction is performed from the position following the reproducing position at the time of the jump. Thus, the content of the HDDVD layer and the content of the DVD layer are reproduced as one stream.

摘要: A sleeve 10 for introduction of a pressurized fluid, which is attached to a rockbolt main body 1, comprises a cylindrical projecting part 11 of a large diameter and a bearing-plate-holding part 12 of a diameter smaller than an aperture of a bearing plate 6. The projecting part 11 and the bearing-plate-holding part 12 preferably has the same inner diameter. When the rockbolt main body 1 is embedded in a bedrock or ground, the bearing plate 6 locates on an edge of a rockbolt-setting hole of the bedrock or ground, and the bearing-plate-holding part 12 extends through the bearing plate 6 into the rockbolt-setting hole. Since the projecting part 11 and the bearing plate 6 are disposed on a sprayed concrete layer, a projection height of the rockbolt is remarkably decreased. Consequently, lining concrete 8 is applied onto the sprayed concrete layer with ease, and the bedrock or ground is reinforced with high reliability.

摘要: A camera system incorporating a seamless lens-drive switching mechanism includes a lens drive ring, a manual operation ring, a motor, a first one-way rotational transfer mechanism preventing the manual operation ring and the lens drive ring from being connected with each other in a first neutral state, and maintains the first neutral state even if the lens drive ring is rotated by the motor; a second one-way rotational transfer mechanism which prevents the motor and the lens drive ring connecting with each other in a second neutral state, connects the motor with the lens drive ring when the motor rotates from the second neutral state, and maintains the second neutral state even if the lens drive ring is rotated by the manual operation ring; and a controller which stops and reverses the motor to bring the second one-way rotational transfer mechanism into the second neutral state.

摘要: A camera having an automatic focusing system includes a focus detector in a camera body to which a photographing lens can be detachably mounted for detecting a focus state for an object image formed by the photographing lens mounted to the camera body. A lens driver in the camera body drives a focusing lens group of the photographing lens to a focal position in accordance with the deflected focus state. A controller in the camera body drives the focusing lens group at a moving-object prediction mode, taking into account a movement of an image surface of the object when the object is a moving object. A memory in the photographing lens stores lens data used to either permit or prohibit an operation at the moving-object prediction mode. The controller determines whether to permit or prohibit the operation at the moving-object prediction mode in accordance with the lens data rear from the memory of the photographing lens.

摘要: The following items are recorded on an interchangeable storage medium used for input/output in a computer system: (1) a data file specified by a file name, (2) a program for subjecting the data file to processing that makes it possible for the data file to be utilized by a computer system, (3) data control information indicating, for each data file, a corresponding relationship among a file name of the data file, the name of a program for applying the processing to the data file specified by the file name and the location of the data file, and (4) program control information indicating the corresponding relationship between a program name and a program location. When a data file is to be read from an interchangeable storage medium, the data file is subjected to predetermined processing by a program which corresponds to the data file so as to be converted to data capable of being utilized by a computer system. When a data file is written, the data file is subjected to predetermined processing by a program which corresponds to the data file and then written to an interchangeable storage medium.
