摘要: A user equipment (UE) is configured to perform a method for measuring and reporting multi-beam operations. The UE includes a transceiver configured to communicate via a multi-beam operation with a base station. The UE further includes a processor operably connected to the transceiver. The processor is configured to at least one of: transmit, via the transceiver through a first set of antenna ports, one or more uplink (UL) reference signals (RSs), or receive, via the transceiver, one of: one or more downlink (DL) RSs transmitted by a base station (BS), or the one or more transmitted UL RSs, measure, via the transceiver using a second set of antenna ports, signal qualities of the one or more UL RSs and the one or more DL RSs for a time period, and perform measurement reporting of the measured signal qualities.

摘要: Doppler pre-compensated control and data signal(s) generated using first and second Doppler pre-compensation patterns, respectively, are transmitted. A signal indicating the Doppler pre-compensation patterns is transmitted. The Doppler pre-compensated control signals comprise synchronization signals, system information blocks (SIBs), a radio resource control (RRC) message, or a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), and the Doppler pre-compensated data signals comprise a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The signal indicating the Doppler pre-compensation patterns comprises one of an RRC message or a PDCCH, and may indicate absolute Doppler values or a difference between Doppler values. The PDCCH may indicate a time offset between the PDCCH PDSCH.

For scheduled handover to be performed upon expiration of the handover timer, the associated handover execution condition comprises one or more abort conditions for aborting the scheduled handover. For two-stage triggered handover to be performed upon receipt of a subsequent triggering message, the handover timer is a handover validity timer and the associated handover execution condition comprises receipt of the handover triggering message prior to expiration of the handover validity timer.

摘要: A non-terrestrial network (NTN) node transmits configuration information including an indication of a maximum transmission block size (TBS) for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission or a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). A TBS for the PUSCH or PDSCH is determined based on at least the indicated TBS, and one of a signal indicates one of a maximum modulation and coding scheme (MCS) for the PUSCH or PDSCH transmission or whether the PUSCH or PDSCH transmission uses a default MCS, or the MCS is determined based on at least the indicated maximum MCS, and the PUSCH is transmitted or the PDSCH is received based on the determined TBS and the determined MCS. A maximum TBS, a maximum MCS, or a number of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARD) processes is indicated by a master information block (MIB), a system information block (SIB), or radio resource control (RRC) signaling.

If ML-assisted CSI prediction is enabled, the CSI reporting configurations further include: a timing offset for future CSI prediction, and ML configurations including indication of an ML model used for the ML-assisted CSI prediction. If AI-CFI reporting is enabled, the CSI reporting configurations further include: a configuration for a report of the AI-CFI, and ML configurations including indication of an ML model used for the ML assisted-CSI feedback determination.

Assistance information generated based on the configuration information is transmitted from the UE to the base station. The UE may perform an inference regarding operations based on the configuration information and local data, or the inference may be performed at one of the base station or another network entity based on assistance information received from UEs including the UE. The assistance information may be local data such as UE location, UE trajectory, or estimated DL channel status, inference results, or updated model parameters.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for resource allocation and timing handling in a wireless communication network. A method of operating a base station (BS) in the wireless communication network includes communicating with at least a first parent BS of the BS in the wireless communication network according to a slot pattern of the BS. The slot pattern indicates slots on which the BS can receive and slots on which the BS can transmit. The method further includes receiving discovery information about a neighbor BS in the wireless communication network and determining whether to add the neighbor BS as a second parent BS of the BS based on the discovery information about the neighbor BS. The method further includes determining a resource allocation to the second parent BS based on the slot pattern of the BS and communicating with the second parent BS based on the determined resource allocation.
