Abstract: An electronic device may include a housing including a first side surface, a first conductive portion disposed between at least a first segmenting portion and a second segmenting portion formed in the first side surface, and including a first feeding point, a printed circuit board disposed inside the housing and including a ground, a first electronic component disposed adjacent to the first conductive portion, a first conductive connection member electrically connected to the first electronic component, a first wireless communication circuit electrically connected to the first feeding point, a processor electrically connected to the first wireless communication circuit, and a matching circuit electrically connected to the first conductive connection member and the ground, and configured to electrically connect or disconnect the first conductive connection member and the ground under control of the processor. The radiation performance of the antenna can be improved by adjusting the resonance frequency of the antenna through the control of the matching circuit. Other various embodiments are possible.

Abstract: An electronic device and a control method thereof based on motion recognition. The electronic device receives at least one signal through a communication unit thereof and, based on the received signal, executes a vibration notification. Also, the device detects a motion thereof through at least one motion sensor equipped therein and determines whether a state of at least one connection unit equipped in a housing is changed. The device also obtains information associated with a user's body part on which the device is worn, based on at least one of information associated with the detected motion and information associated with the changed state of the connection unit. Then, based on the obtained information, the device performs at least one function.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device includes a front plate, a rear plate facing away from the front plate, and a side member surrounding the space between the front plate and the rear plate. The side member comprises: a housing including a conductive annular member; at least one mounting member connected to the side member and detachably mounted to a portion of the human body such that the rear plate is configured to be oriented toward a portion of the human body; a substrate (PCB) disposed in parallel with the front plate in the space and including a ground plane; at least one wireless communication circuit disposed on the substrate; a first electrical path connected between the wireless communication circuit and a first point of the conductive annular member; and a second electrical path connected between the ground plane and a second point of the conductive annular member, wherein a first region of the conductive annular member defined between the first point and the second point has a first length, and a second region of the conductive annular member defined between the first point and the second point has a second length that is shorter than the first length, wherein the side member includes an extension part disposed in the space and extending along a first region of the annular member or a portion of the second region and may include a conductive pattern electrically connected to the wireless communication circuit. Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing including a front plate forming a first surface, a back plate forming a second surface, and a side member forming a side surface surrounding a space between the first and second surfaces; a sound output device disposed in the housing; an electrical component disposed in the housing and having a variable thickness; and a vibration damping member disposed on at least part of the electrical component or formed between the electrical component and the back plate. The vibration damping member is disposed in a variable space having a thickness varying depending on a thickness variation of the electrical component. The vibration damping member has a height varying in a thickness direction of the variable space to correspond to the thickness of the variable space and divides the variable space into a plurality of sub-spaces when the variable space has a specified thickness or more.
