Abstract: A power supply device has; a battery stacked body where a plural sheets of battery cells each having a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal at one surface thereof are stacked; and a plurality of bus bars which connect the electrode terminals in the battery cells adjacently disposed. Each of the bus bars partially has a thin area whose thickness is thinner than a thickness of the other area, and an open window formed in the dun area, and opening a portion thereof. The thin area is formed in an oval shape elongated in the battery cell stacking direction, and the open window extends in a direction along the length of the oval shape. This configuration allows the thin area, above and below the length side of the oval shaped thin area, to be secured as a joining area for laser welding or the like.

Abstract: A power supply device includes battery cells each having a rectangular external shape, a separator disposed between the battery cells, a pair of end plates that are disposed on respective ends of a battery assembly in which the separator and the battery cells are stacked, and a bind bar that binds the pair of end plates. The separator has insulating rib parts that protrude from both surfaces of the separator, and the insulating rib parts of the separator stacked on each surface of the battery cell are stacked on each other on a bottom surface of the battery cell. The insulating rib parts are stacked on each other on the bottom surface of the battery cell by inserting an insertion rib provided in one of the stacked insulating rib parts into an insertion groove provided in the other of the stacked insulating rib parts.

Abstract: A plurality of battery cells are connected by a busbar. Electrode terminals of the battery cells each include a protruding portion and a welding surface around the protruding portion. The busbar includes a welding plate portion being in surface-contact with the welding surface and having a cut-away portion for guiding the protruding portion, and an exposure gap that exposes the welding surface between the inner side of the cut-away portion and the protruding portion. The busbar is welded to the welding surface in a predetermined welding width (H) by both of a fillet weld part and a penetration welding portion such that the inner edge of the cut-away portion as the fillet weld part is welded to the welding surface, and the boundary between the busbar and the welding surface is welded by the penetration welding portion.

Abstract: A battery for automotive electrical system comprises a lead battery having an outer shape of a rectangular box and having length longer than the width, and a sub-battery connected in parallel to the lead battery. Abstract: A vehicular power source device includes: a case incorporating a battery; a service plug coupled to the battery incorporated in the case; and a protection cover of the service plug.
