The first reservoir unit is provided at a position lower than a position of the second reservoir unit in the gravity direction, and when the determination unit determines that an amount of air is abnormal, after the cleaning liquid stored in the second reservoir unit is discharged to the first reservoir unit until a liquid level of the cleaning liquid stored in the second reservoir unit reaches a reference liquid level, the control unit causes the cleaning liquid to be delivered from the first reservoir unit to the second reservoir unit again.

A removal unit includes a blade that comes into contact with the front surface to remove an adhering substance. A plurality of detectors detect a force received by the blade from the transporting belt or a change in the force. A display unit displays information. An adjustment unit is configured to adjust a position of the blade relative to the transporting belt. Each of the detectors are provided corresponding to a respective one of a plurality of regions into which the transporting belt is divided in the width direction intersecting the transport direction. When the control unit determines that there is an abnormal region among the regions based on detection results of the detectors, the control unit causes the display unit to display information indicating the abnormal region.

摘要: A transport device includes a transport belt, an abutting unit, a moving mechanism, and a displacement detection unit. The transport belt has an adhesive layer capable of adhering to a medium, and is capable of transporting the medium adhering to the adhesive layer. The abutting unit is capable of abutting against a surface of the adhesive layer. It is assumed that a direction in which the abutting unit is away from the adhesive layer is a first direction and a direction opposite thereto is a second direction. The moving mechanism is capable of moving a position of the abutting unit with respect to the surface in the first direction and the second direction. The displacement detection unit detects a displacement amount of the transport belt in the first direction when the moving mechanism moves the abutting unit in the first direction while the abutting unit abuts against the surface.
