    摘要: Liquid fuel is injected under pressure into the induction pipe downstream of the main throttle valve. The fuel flow is metered to the injection orifice by a valve actuated by an electromagnet according to the airflow in the induction pipe. The injection orifice is aligned with an auxiliary orifice in an air chamber at constant pressure. The airflow to the chamber is carried close to the electromagnet so as to cool it.

    摘要: The overall duration of opening of an injection valve in the fuel feed is regulated by an auxiliary throttle member opening automatically arranged upstream of a main throttle member. The pressure of the fuel passing through the injection valve is regulated by a system sensitive to the suction existing in the space between the two throttle members. Correction means act by feeding air into the system so as to reduce the suction and can include a diaphragm-controlled return valve and/or a capsuledriven piston obturating a calibrated orifice to the atmosphere.

    摘要: The carburetor has a fuel/air mixture supply circuit constituted by the sequence of an ascending channel connected to a float chamber through an immersed calibrated orifice and a descending channel with an opening into the intake pipe of the carburetor downstream of the main throttle member of this pipe. The descending channel is controlled by a member which opens it only during periods of deceleration of the engine. The linking zone between the two channels is above the constant level of the float chamber and connected through an air passage having a second calibrated orifice, to an air intake zone of the carburetor other than that connected to the upper portion of the float chamber. The ascending channel has a further calibrated orifice above the constant level and communicates with the space above the constant level through a passage of small cross-section opening into the ascending channel between its two calibrated orifices and also itself above the constant level. The assembly reduces the suction in the ascending channel to an extent insufficient or sufficient to stop the fuel being sucked into the descending channel according as the closure member is open or not.

    摘要: The invention relates to fuel feed devices for internal combustion engines, of the kind comprising at least one fuel valve openable by an electromagnet for as long as the same is energized under the control of a signal delivered by an energizing system brought into operation simultaneously with the engine ignition system and adapted to transmit, in synchronism with the rotation of a rotating member drivable after the bringing into action of the engine ignition system, signals whose duration depends upon engine operating conditions. The energizing system comprises means which interrupt transmission of the signal and close the valve when the duration of the signal reaches a predetermined maximum value.
