摘要: The present disclosure relates to an inspection apparatus, an inspection method, and a program that acquire inspection results with increased accuracy. In one example the inspection of lawn vegetation is provided. The inspection apparatus calculates a vegetation index for inspecting the vegetation of a lawn by cancelling a grain-dependent component from an image of the lawn. The inspection apparatus also cancels an imaging-direction-dependent component from the image using two images taken with azimuth angles of imaging directions at the time of taking images in directions opposite to each other. Further, the inspection apparatus cancels an angle-dependent component from the image in accordance with a shining direction of light shone on the lawn using two images taken with azimuth angles of the shining direction of light shone on the lawn at the time of taking images in directions opposite to each other.

摘要: The present technology relates an inspection apparatus, an inspection method and a program by which accurate measurement light correction can be performed. The inspection apparatus determines, based on a table in which reference spectral information and a correction gain for correcting measurement spectral information of an inspection object obtained by sensing under a measurement light source are associated with each other and measurement spectral information of a reference reflector plate obtained by sensing under the measurement light source, a measurement light source correspondence correction gain corresponding to the measurement light source, and corrects the measurement spectral information of the inspection object obtained by sensing under the measurement light source based on the determined measurement light source correspondence correction gain. The present technology can be applied, for example, to a vegetation inspection apparatus that measures a vegetation index such as a normalized vegetation index (NDVI).

摘要: Focus detection is to determine whether an image is in focus or not. Focus detection is able to be used for improving camera autofocus performance. Focus detection by using only one feature does not provide enough reliability to distinguish in-focus and slightly out-of-focus images. A focus detection algorithm of combining multiple features used to evaluate sharpness is described herein. A large image data set with in-focus and out-of-focus images is used to develop the focus detector for separating the in-focus images from out-of-focus images. Many features such as iterative blur estimation, FFT linearity, edge percentage, wavelet energy ratio, improved wavelet energy ratio, Chebyshev moment ratio and chromatic aberration features are able to be used to evaluate sharpness and determine big blur images.
