    摘要: The present technique relates to a channel scan device and method, and a program configured so that high-speed channel scan is enabled.The power spectrum extracting unit 31 of the decoding unit 22 extracts a power level for each frequency of an input signal as a power spectrum, and supplies the power level to the channel scan processing unit 23. The channel scan processing unit 23 extracts a trapezoidal band, which constitutes a power spectrum waveform, in a power spectrum as a channel candidate, and extracts a channel, for which synchronization of a clock and synchronization of a TS required for reproduction of audio and video can be confirmed, as a valid channel. The present technique can be applied to a television receiver.

An Allan variance is calculated as the characteristics of each of the plurality of sensors. A time window length for an Allan variance is specified as a condition used when the observation values of the plurality of sensors are combined. A weight for each of the plurality of sensors is calculated such that a sum of the Allan variances for the specified time window length is smallest. The respective observation values of the plurality of sensors are combined using a sum of products of the observation values of the plurality of sensors and the weights calculated for each corresponding sensor of the plurality of sensors.

    摘要: The present technique relates to a demodulation device, a demodulation method and a program capable of realizing a demodulation process at a rate equivalent to a case where I and Q channel signals are not inverted, even when the I and Q channel signals are inverted. A frequency correction unit establishes synchronization of a frequency and clock based on a signal from a frequency synchronization unit. A channel inversion detection unit of a frame synchronization unit detects presence or absence of inversion of I and Q channel signals, and supplies, as a detection result, a channel inversion detection result to the channel inversion control unit. The channel inversion control unit switches the I and Q channel signals if the inversion has occurred, based on the channel inversion detection result. This technique can be applied to a demodulation device.
