摘要: An information processing apparatus includes a communication unit capable of communicating with a server, a battery, and a controller. The controller is capable of executing processing regarding a predetermined function for which personal authentication is required at a time of use, detects a remaining charge level of the battery, and transmits, when the detected remaining charge level is less than a predetermined threshold value, a transfer request signal to the server, the transfer request signal requesting transfer of use authority of the function to another information processing apparatus.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, a client system, and a control method of the client system that can reduce labor of authentication by a user without reducing a security level of a settlement process. The user wears a wearable device that performs fingerprint authentication and that periodically transmits position information to a bank server. In addition, the user operates a client apparatus including a smartphone, a PC, or the like to execute a settlement process. The client apparatus transmits position information of the client apparatus to a bank server in the settlement process. The bank server reduces a risk score if the wearable device and the client apparatus are at the same position based on the position information of the wearable device and the position information of the client apparatus. The present disclosure can be applied to a settlement processing system.

A message processing section, in a case where a connection has been established with a server which distributes display information to be displayed on a display device in synchronization with reproduction of content, processes a message from the server for controlling the distribution in accordance with a first protocol. A connection confirmation section confirms whether or not the connection has been established in accordance with a second protocol. A connection request section, in a case where the connection has not been established, requests establishment of the connection to the server in accordance with the second protocol.
