    Abstract: A detecting equipment and a movable platform are provided. The detecting equipment includes a light-emitting component, a photosensitive component, a processing component, a first optical element, a second optical element, and a circuit board. The circuit board contains a first through-hole and a second through-hole. A light signal emitted by the light-emitting component is configured to successively pass through the first through-hole and the first optical element, and a light signal reflected by a target object is configured to successively pass through the second optical element and the second through-hole to reach the photosensitive component. According to the light signal emitted by the light-emitting component and the light signal received by the photosensitive component and reflected by the target object, the processing component is configured to determine information associated with the target object.

    Abstract: A distance measurement method and apparatus, and an unmanned aerial vehicle are provided. The method includes: after obtaining a distance measurement value corresponding to a returned distance measurement signal, determining target strength of the distance measurement signal based on the distance measurement value; and determining a distance result value based on received strength of the distance measurement signal, the target strength, and the distance measurement value. The present disclosure improves the accuracy of a distance measurement result.

    Abstract: A method of ultrasound distance detection includes identifying an ultrasound echo from an object and determining a distance between a mobile platform and the object based upon the ultrasound echo. Identifying the ultrasound echo includes dividing a sonic waveform received by the mobile platform into packets, filtering the packets using at least a threshold packet bandwidth to identify one or more candidate packets that are not noise, and identifying the ultrasound echo from the one or more candidate packets. The threshold packet bandwidth is multiple of an average width of previously known echoes.

    Abstract: A system for detecting objects using ultrasonic waves and methods for making and using the same are provided. The object detection system uniquely encodes each of a plurality of ultrasonic waves and transmit each of the uniquely-encoded ultrasonic waves in a respective direction. The object detection system then receives any of the emitted uniquely-encoded ultrasonic waves that are reflected from an object. By decoding the reflected ultrasonic waves, the object detection system distinguishes among the uniquely-encoded ultrasonic waves and detect the existence and location of the object.

    Abstract: A sensor system includes an optical aperture, a light source configured to generate a light pulse along a first optical path, a reflective surface configured to reflect the light pulse from the first optical path to a second optical path for passing through the optical aperture, a beam steering device positioned in the optical aperture and configured to steer the light pulse along different directions to one or more objects in an angle of view of the sensor system, a detector configured to receive a reflected light pulse and convert the reflected light pulse into an electrical signal, the reflected light pulse being reflected back from the one or more objects and passed through the beam steer device, and a spatial filtering device positioned between the beam steering device and the detector to block undesirable light in both the light pulse and the reflected light pulse.
