Each pixel includes a first transistor connected between first and second nodes and including a gate electrode to receive a scan signal, a second transistor connected between the second node and a third node in series with the first transistor and including a gate electrode to receive the third power, and a driving transistor connected between a source of the first power and the third node and including a gate electrode connected to the first electrode to control a driving current for an organic light emitting diode. Abstract: A display substrate includes a gate line, a gate insulation layer, a data line, a switching element, a protection insulation layer, a gate pad portion and a data pad portion. The gate insulation layer is disposed on the gate line. The switching element is connected to the gate line and the data line. The protection insulation layer is disposed on the switching element. Abstract: A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus includes a display panel and a gate driving circuit. The display panel includes a base substrate and a switching transistor. The base substrate includes a display area displaying an image and a peripheral area surrounding the display area. The switching transistor includes a first gate electrode disposed on the display area, a first channel disposed on the first gate electrode, and a first source electrode and a first drain electrode being spaced apart from each other with respect to the first channel. The gate driving circuit includes a driving transistor integrated on the peripheral area of the display panel applying gate signals to the display panel. The driving transistor includes a second gate electrode disposed on the peripheral area, a second channel disposed on the second gate electrode, and a second source electrode and a second drain electrode being spaced apart from each other with respect to the second channel, wherein the second channel includes a first active layer and a second active layer disposed on the first active layer, and a thickness of the second channel is greater than a thickness of the first channel, improving reliability and lifetime of the display apparatus.
