    摘要: A liquid crystal display includes a first panel including a first substrate, a first electrode which is disposed on the first substrate and which includes a stem unit including a horizontal stem and a vertical stem dividing a pixel into domains, a branch unit including branch electrodes and extending from at least one stem of the stem unit in one direction, and an external bundling electrode unit connected to an end of at least one of the branch electrodes and disposed along an edge of the pixel, a first slit pattern which is defined in the branch unit, a second slit pattern which contacts the vertical stem and is disposed parallel to the horizontal stem, a third slit pattern which contacts the horizontal stem and is disposed parallel to the vertical stem, and a protrusion unit which is disposed on an outer circumference of the external bundling electrode unit.

The pixel electrode defines: a first stem extending in a first direction, a second stem extending in a second direction, first edge bars extending in the first direction and connected to the second stem, second edge bars extending in the second direction and connected to the first stem, and plural branches extending from the first or second stem and inclined with respect to the first or second directions and terminating spaced apart from the first and second edge bars. Distal ends of each of the first edge bars are spaced apart from distal ends of each of second edge bars, and in the second direction, each of the first edge bars overlaps lines along which the second edge bars respectively lengthwise extend.

    摘要: A method of inspecting a display device and a method of manufacturing a display device are provided. The display includes a substrate, a light emitting element on the substrate, a first contact electrode on one end of the light emitting element, and a second contact electrode spaced from the first contact electrode and on an other end of the light emitting element. The method of inspecting the display device includes applying a first inspection voltage and a second inspection voltage to the first contact electrode and the second contact electrode, respectively, and measuring a first inspection current, and while applying the first inspection voltage and the second inspection voltage to the first contact electrode and the second contact electrode, respectively, irradiating the light emitting element with inspection light and measuring a second inspection current.
