    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel and a power supply. The display panel displays an image at a first driving frequency in a normal mode and displays an image at a second driving frequency in a low power mode. The second driving frequency is lower than the first driving frequency. The power supply outputs a first initialization voltage at a first level to the display panel during an active period of the low power mode. The power supply outputs a second initialization voltage at a second level to the display panel during at least a portion of a blank period of the low power mode. The second level is higher than the first level.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel comprising a plurality of pixels, a data driver configured to generate data voltages based on a gamma reference voltage, and to provide the data voltages to the plurality of pixels, a gate driver configured to provide gate signals to the plurality of pixels, and a controller configured to control the data driver and the gate driver. The controller is configured to initialize the gamma reference voltage when a blank period starts in a frame period comprising an active period and the blank period, and to change the gamma reference voltage when a duration of the blank period reaches at least one threshold time.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device and a driving method of the liquid crystal display device includes a display panel including a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of data lines crossing the gate lines, and a plurality of pixels coupled to the gate lines and the data lines, a gate driver configured to provide a gate signal to the pixels through the gate lines, a data driver configured to provide a data signal to the pixels through the data lines and a timing controller configured to receive an image data provided from an external device and generate control signals that control the gate driver and the data driver. The timing controller analyzes a pattern of the image data by every frame, and changes an inversion driving method and gamma voltages of the image data based on a pattern analyzing result from the analysis of the pattern of the image data.
