The method includes identifying at least one log for operational events based on at least one input parameter, identifying at least one element existing within the at least one log based on the at least one input parameter, fetching contents related to the at least one element from the at least one log, and displaying a portion of the contents.

The disclosure provides a method for document management in a network. The method includes acquiring, by an electronic device, a source document as an image, extracting, by the electronic device, a plurality of multi-modal information from the source document by parsing the source document, automatically determining, by the electronic device, a category of the source document based on a comparison of the extracted plurality of multi-modal information with a plurality of pre-defined features, extracting, by the electronic device, a plurality of data fields corresponding to the determined category from the source document, determining, by the electronic device, a priority for each of the plurality of data fields and storing, by the electronic device, the plurality of data fields in at least one of a secure information source and an unsecure information source based on the determined priority.

A method for managing applications in an electronic device is provided. The method includes displaying a user interface (UI) that has a first region and a second region in which a plurality of objects are displayed, displaying, in the first region, at least one object that corresponds to a designated input from among the plurality of objects, wherein each of the plurality of objects corresponds to one of an application stored in the device and a notification generated in the device, and wherein the at least one object usable for activating at least one function from among a plurality of functions associated with the application or the notification that corresponds to the selected object.

A method for providing notifications is provided. The method includes a tangible user interface (TUI) element the receives an input from a computing device coupled to the TUI element. The input is indicative of an outcome corresponding to a functionality of an application on the computing device. Based on the outcome, the TUI element determines at least one illumination pattern from a plurality of pre-stored illumination patterns. Thereafter, the TUI element generates an output based on the at least one determined illumination pattern.
Abstract:
A method for aggregating communication records is provided and includes obtaining a communication report corresponding to each of one or more communication events. The communication events indicate an occurrence of communication between a first user and a second user using a communication mode from among a plurality of communication modes. Each of the communication records are classified into one or more communication categories based on one or more classification parameters. The communication records are aggregated based on the classifying weightage assigned to one or more contextual parameters corresponding to each of the plurality of communication records. The contextual parameters indicate relevance of the corresponding communication record and the communication mode corresponding to the communication record.
