摘要： A refrigerator designed to enlarge the interior capacity of a storage compartment and to enhance the circulating efficiency of cool air. The refrigerator includes a cabinet, a projecting part, an evaporator, a cool air circulating fan, and a machine room. The cabinet is provided with a storage compartment. The projecting part is upwardly projected from a predetermined position on the upper portion of the cabinet to define an air cooling chamber, and the air cooling chamber is defined in an upward direction from the upper portion of the storage compartment. The evaporator and cool air circulating fan are installed in the air cooling chamber defined in the projecting part. The machine room is provided on the upper portion of the cabinet at a position opposed to the projecting part. A compressor and a condenser are installed in the machine room.

摘要： The present invention relates to a cooling apparatus including a compressor, a condenser, a first expanding unit, a second expanding unit, a third expanding unit, a first evaporator, and a second evaporator; a first refrigerant circuit containing refrigerant discharged from the compressor and flowing into a suction side of the compressor through the condenser, the first expanding unit, the first evaporator, the second expanding unit and the second evaporator; a second refrigerant circuit containing the refrigerant passing through the condenser flowing into the suction side of the compressor through the third expanding unit and the second evaporator; a flow path control unit installed at a discharge side of the condenser, switching a refrigerant flow path so that the refrigerant passing through the condenser flows through at least one of the first and second refrigerant circuits; and a control unit selectively opening and closing the flow path control unit. The invention also relates to a method for controlling the apparatus.

摘要： A two-compartment cooling apparatus which achieves a plurality of refrigeration cycles by controlling refrigerant paths, thus increasing cooling efficiency and cooling speed of the cooling apparatus. A compressed refrigerant provided by a compressor is selectively provided to first and/or second evaporators via first, second and third expansion units and a path control unit. The path control unit controls the flow of the refrigerant through the expansion units and the evaporators to vary the cooling in the respective compartments in response to temperature measurements made in the respective compartments.

摘要： A frame of a wall-embedded refrigerator capable of providing a good appearance while simplifying its assembly process. The disclosed frame includes an outer case having a pair of side plates respectively forming opposite outer side surfaces, and a rear plate forming an outer rear surface, a pair of inner cases received in the outer case while being spaced apart from an inner surface of the outer case by a desired distance, the inner cases defining freezing and refrigerating chambers, respectively, and a cabinet flange to cover front surfaces of the outer and inner cases, and a front surface of a partition wall formed between the freezing and refrigerating chambers. The inner cases and the cabinet flange are integrally formed as an integrated inner case. The frame simplifies the assembly process, thereby achieving an improvement in productivity, a reduction in manufacturing costs, and a good refrigerator appearance.
