The method may include: detecting an angle between a first housing and a second housing; and adjusting a touch-sensing sensitivity on at least a portion of a third side adjacent to a first side to be lower than a touch-sensing sensitivity on the first side based on a touch input being detected on the first side where the angle is smaller than a specified angle.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise: one or more first electrodes; one or more second electrodes arranged in at least a different direction from the one or more first electrodes; one or more third electrodes arranged between the one or more second electrodes, respectively, in the same direction as the second electrodes when viewed from above; and a control circuit, wherein the control circuit is configured to detect touch information related to an external object, at least on the basis of a change in a capacitance value between at least a part of the one or more first electrodes and at least a part of the one or more second electrodes, and detect hovering information related to the external object, at least on the basis of a capacitance value related to at least a part of the one or more third electrodes. Various other embodiments are possible.

Abstract: An foldable electronic device and method are disclosed. The device includes: a foldable housing rotatable about a hinge, enabling folding of a flexible display. The processors implement the method, including: by the first processor, detecting an external object contacting the flexible display and requesting activation of the second processor based on the detection; and by the second processor: activating and outputting a notification warning of potential damage to the flexible display if the device is folded closed with the external object present on the flexible display.
