Disclosed in various examples are an electronic device comprising a rotary switch, and a function control method therefore, the electronic device comprising the rotary switch by which a user can select a waterproof function and a microphone function, and informing, through an icon and/or a sound, the user of whether the electronic device is in a waterproof mode or a microphone mode according to the operation of the rotary switch, such that the user can easily select the waterproof mode or the microphone mode.
Abstract:
A method of operating a lock screen of an electronic device provided with a touch screen and an electronic device, in which a user can more conveniently unlock the lock screen through a user input and feedback in response to the user input, without looking at the electronic device is provided. The method includes receiving a user input while a lock screen function is operated, providing feedback configured in response to the user input, comparing input information according to the user input with preconfigured pattern information, and operating the lock screen according to whether the input information accords with the pattern information. The present disclosure can be applied to various other embodiments based on the aforementioned embodiment.

Provided are an electronic device and/or a controlling method thereof. The electronic device may include a projection part; a memory storing at least one instruction; and at least one processor. The projection part may include a split prism for transmitting a part of light emitted from a light source in a front direction and reflecting a remaining part of light on at least one inclined surface in a lateral direction. The processor may be configured to convert an image corresponding to a received signal into a multi-sided image to be projected to a plurality of projection surfaces, and control the projection part to project the converted multi-sided image to the plurality of projection surfaces through the split prism.

An electronic device and a method for photographing an image in a multi-direction is provided. The electronic device includes a case, including a display, an image sensor, and a processor, and a crown disposed on the case, the crown including a camera window. The crown is rotatable and when the crown is rotated, the camera window is rotated, and light passing through the camera window is transmitted to the image sensor.
