    Abstract: A carbon fiber charging device and an electrical appliance therefor are provided. The carbon fiber charging device includes a carbon fiber electrode configured to generate electrons and charge surrounding dust, a protective case configured to cover the carbon fiber electrode such that a foreign object having a size of a human finger is not able to contact the carbon fiber electrode, the protective case including a top wall facing a tip of the carbon fiber electrode and provided with a through hole and a side wall surrounding an outer circumferential surface of the carbon fiber electrode, and an electron generation stabilization device provided in the protective case and configured to allow the carbon fiber electrode to generate electrons stably.

    Abstract: An electrical appliance having an electrostatic dust collecting device includes a main body including an inlet; a charging device disposed on the main body at an edge of the inlet and configured to charge contaminants in air; an air moving device disposed inside the main body and configured to suck air containing contaminants and exhaust the air to an outside; and a dust collecting device disposed in an air passage and configured to collect contaminants charged by the charging device from the air. The charging device includes a plurality of carbon fiber electrodes disposed toward the inlet and configured to generate electrons to charge contaminants; a printed circuit board on which the plurality of carbon fiber electrodes are disposed; and a ground electrode disposed adjacent to the printed circuit board without facing the plurality of carbon fiber electrodes.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an electric dust collection device comprising: an electrification unit; and a dust collection unit provided downstream of the electrification unit, wherein the dust collection unit comprises a plurality of bent parts formed by continuously bending one insulating sheet, each of the plurality of bent parts comprises: two flat surfaces bent so as to face each other at a predetermined interval; and a connection surface connecting respective one ends of the two flat surfaces in the vertical direction and having an opening, one flat surface of the two flat surfaces has an electrode for an anode, and the other one flat surface has an electrode for a cathode.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is provide an electrostatic precipitator capable of allowing a charger to be thin while suppressing ozone generation. The electrostatic precipitator 1 includes a charger 10 provided with a high voltage electrode 11 receiving a high voltage from a high voltage generating circuit 40 and a counter electrode 12 facing the high voltage electrode 11 and receiving a reference voltage from the high voltage generating circuit 40, and configured to charge suspended particles by generating a discharge between the high voltage electrode 11 and the counter electrode 12; and a dust collector 20 disposed in the downstream side of an air flow direction of the charger 10 and configured to collect the suspended particles charged by the charger 10.
