摘要: The present invention relates to a separator for a lithium secondary battery, and a lithium secondary battery including same. The separator includes a porous substrate, and a coating layer on at least one surface of the porous substrate, wherein the coating layer includes a heat-resistant binder including a (meth)acrylic copolymer including a first structural unit derived from (meth)acrylamide, and a second structural unit including at least one of a structural unit derived from (meth)acrylic acid or (meth)acrylate, and a structural unit derived from (meth)acrylamidosulfonic acid or a salt; an adhesive binder having a core-shell structure; and inorganic particles, wherein the adhesive binder has an average particle diameter of 0.2 μm to 1.0 μm, and the inorganic particles have an average particle diameter of 0.2 μm to 1.0 μm.

摘要: The present invention relates to a rechargeable battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, wherein the positive electrode comprises a positive electrode active material selected from a lithium cobalt oxide, a lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide, a lithium nickel cobalt aluminum oxide, or a combination thereof, wherein the separator including: a porous substrate; and a coating layer on at least one surface of the porous substrate. The porous substrate essentially consists of polyolefin and the thickness of the porous substrate is about 5 μm to about 15 μm. The coating layer faces the positive electrode and includes a (meth)acrylic copolymer including a first structural unit derived from (meth)acrylamide, a second structural unit derived from (meth)acrylonitrile, and a third structural unit derived from (meth)acrylamido sulfonic acid, (meth)acrylamido sulfonic acid salt, or a combination thereof. The heat shrinkage rate in traverse direction of the separator is less than 5%.

摘要: This application relates to a coating layer composition and a coating layer formed using the coating layer composition. The coating layer composition includes a heat-resistant binder, a hydroxy group-containing polyimide particle, a silane cross-linking agent, and a solvent. The hydroxy group-containing polyimide particle and the functional group-containing silane cross-linking agent form a core-shell structured organic particle in which a core portion is derived from the hydroxy group-containing polyimide particles and a shell portion that is derived from the functional group-containing silane cross-linking agent. The shell portion is on the surface of the core portion in the core-shell structured organic particle. The application also relates to a separator for a rechargeable lithium battery and a rechargeable lithium battery including the separator having a coating layer formed using the coating layer composition.
