摘要: The specification and drawings present a new method, apparatus and software related product (e.g., a computer readable memory) for implementing a D2D discovery resource allocation by a network for D2D discovery by UEs belonging to multiple cells in a D2D discovery area, e.g., in LTE wireless systems. A network such as LTE may determine an allocation of one or more resources (UL and/or DL) for a device-to-device discovery among a plurality of UEs located in multiple cells of the network in a D2D discovery area. The allocation of the one or more resources is then may be provided by the network to the plurality of UEs for performing, using these one or more resources, the D2D discovery between any two UEs of the plurality of UEs located in the multiple cells in the D2D discovery area.

摘要: In a multi-RAT user equipment autonomous denials are used to stop LTE transmission to free frames or subframes for the transmission of e.g Bluetooth or WLAN signals. The use of the autonomous denials is limited per defined time period. The start of this time window may not be synchronised between UE and eNB. To avoid any synchronisation problems, a system frame number associated with the network entity is used as the basis for generating an indicator for the start of the time period. The indicator is then transmitted to the user equipment, which is adapted to respond to receipt of the indicator by configuring the user equipment to perform no more than a predetermined number of autonomous denials during the time period. The number of unsuccessful transmissions during the time period is then monitored by the network entity, and resource usage within the wireless communications network is selectively adapted on the basis of the monitoring.

摘要: A channel inverse multiplexer/multiplexer (IMUX/MUX) (14a) of a MAC sublayer (14) of a UTRAN RNC (11) for providing to a UE (18) traffic (communication signals including in general both control and user data) at a higher rate than the UE can accept over a single channel. The channel IMUX/MUX performs inverse multiplexing of traffic for downlink, and multiplexing of traffic on uplink, and does so in a way that is transparent to all other layers/entities of the UTRAN (11 17) and to the UE (18).

摘要: The power level of multicast data transmissions in a wireless communications network are controlled. Power level information is provided in a transmitted channel received by a user equipment. The user equipment measures the power level of a received signal. It compares the measured power level to the power level indicated by the power level information provided in the transmitted channel. Power level measurement information is included in a message sent by the user equipment depending on the results obtained when the power level measured by the user equipment is compared to the power level indicated by the power level information provided in the transmitted channel.

摘要: There is provided a mechanism for controlling communications conducted in multiple frequency bands so as to decrease an interference level between the communications. When an interference situation caused between a first set UL communications performed on at least two different frequency bands and a DL communication performed on another frequency band is determined, a frequency carrier deactivation processing is conducted so as to deactivate either one of carriers of the at least two frequency bands of the set of UL communications. The deactivation processing comprises for example an autonomous denial on the UE side or an interference reporting with deactivation on the eNB side.

摘要: The area of the invention belongs to the transport technologies in UTRAN. This invention concerns a method for multiplexing a data stream onto a transport bearer between an originating network node and a receiving network node in a telecommunications network. This is done in order to ensure the effective usage of transport resources over the two interfaces, i.e. Iub/Iur. To accomplish this the RNC and/or Node B/RNC should check if the there already exists a transport bearer, which can be utilized for HS-DSCH transport over Iub/Iur interface. Because of this a transport bearer identification code or transport bearer id is needed to identify this bearer between RNC and Node B/RNC.

摘要: In packet data transmission method, a packet data connection is indicated with a connection identifier and the destination of the packet data connection is indicated with a destination identifier. A destination identifier is involved in the initialization of a transmission queue, at least one connection identifier is related to each transmission queue, and a set of proper connection identifiers is the union of the connection identifiers related to the initialized transmission queues. A data packet having a proper connection identifier is placed (504, 505) to the corresponding transmission queue. The method is characterized in that the initialization of a new transmission queue is triggered (506, 508) by a data packet not having a proper connection identifier and having a destination identifier and after a successful initialization of a new transmission queue the data packet that triggered the initialization is placed (509) to the new transmission queue. The method can be employed, for example, in a network element (800).
