摘要: A subassembly for use in a vacuum inlet valve assembly for a central vacuum system, the subassembly having a valve body with a wiring compartment and at least one press connection detent means and a reversible mounting flange for connecting to the valve body. The mounting flange includes an attachment portion, a mounting flange wall sized and shaped to cover an open side of wiring compartment and press catch connection elements sized and shaped to interact with the detent to secure the mounting flange to the valve body. Also disclosed is a vacuum inlet valve assembly comprising the above subassembly in combination with a cover plate having a rectangular door, a hinge located on a long side of the rectangular door, and a face plate with a vacuum connection opening. In an alternate embodiment the valve body includes a perimeter wall, attachment openings internal but adjacent to said perimeter wall and a snap fit cover to close an open wall of a wiring compartment.

摘要: Multi-functional additives which impart improved antioxidancy to lubricating oil compositions and frictional properties resulting in improved fuel economy in an internal combustion engine are disclosed. More particularly disclosed is a boron containing salt of an oil soluble hydroxylated amine and a hindered phenolic acid product prepared by: a) reacting an oil soluble hydroxylated amine of the general formula II: wherein A at each occurrence is each independently C2-C6 alkylene group; R is methyl or an alkyl or alkenyl group having C2-C24 carbon atoms; Y is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl group or A-OH; x is an integer of 1 or 2; and z is an integer of 0 or 1; with a boron containing compound under reactive conditions; and b) mixing the reaction product of step a) with a hindered phenolic acid.

摘要: A multi-layer stack platform is provided for cloud communication connections and services between devices. The system includes three or more layers, including a directory component, an applications component, and a peering component. An interconnection component may also be provided for communication between the applications component and the peering component. The components operate to provide communication services, such as sessions, according to the functionality of a selected application by adhering to device, user, and routing rules and preferences. The device, user, and routing rules and preferences are maintained in and processed by the directory component. The applications component receives communication session requests and accesses corresponding application scripts to perform the requested session. The peering component receives the device, user, and routing rules and preferences, and establishes connection between devices based on the rules and preferences as defined by the directory component.

摘要: A combustion method for melting glass in which two fuels of the same nature or different natures are fed into a fusion furnace at two locations remote from each other for distributing the fuel to reduce NOx emissions. The combustion air is supplied at only one of the locations. In a method for operating a glass melting furnace, the fuel injection is distributed to reduce NOx emissions. The furnace includes a melting vessel for receiving the glass to be melted and containing a bath of molten glass, walls defining the furnace, a hot combustion air inlet, a hot smoke outlet, at least one burner for injecting a first fuel, and at least one injector for injecting a second fuel. The injector has an adjustable flow complementary relative to the flow to the burner so that up to 100% of the totality of the first and second fuels used may be injected.

摘要: A system for managing and securing product and deterring theft in a retail setting includes a system that resides either on a standard retailer shelf or may be a stand-alone system. In an embodiment, the system includes a plurality of shelves and product dividers positioned between the shelves and extending from the front edges of the shelves toward the rear of the shelves. Front retaining walls are positioned at the front edges of the shelves and are configured to have a height that inhibits access to products on the shelves. Individual retaining tabs of varying height may be added in front of rows of taller product to inhibit access to these products. In an embodiment, rigid or moveable barriers may be positioned above retaining walls that further restrict access to the products. With the invention, the “sweeping” of numerous products by a thief is deterred. In another embodiment, an alert device may be configured to detect and monitor movement of the moveable barriers and may provide an alert signal corresponding to the management of product on the shelf or corresponding to a potential theft situation. In an embodiment, the alert device may communicate with a security camera to monitor the vicinity and provide a notification to the potential thief that his actions are being monitored and recorded, or provide a notification to store computer, pager, cellular telephone, or the like. In yet another embodiment, lock mechanisms may be used to further secure high-risk theft items. Also, clips or clip members may be incorporated to further secure the product dividers to the shelves. In addition, an adjustable power bar may be included that is adjustable to accommodate the height adjustments made to the shelves.
