摘要: One aspect of the invention relates to a filter module comprising: —a filter element having at least one filter medium which separates a filtrate side and a retentate side of the filter element from one another, and having a filter medium holder to which the filter medium is attached and which has at least one holder intake channel and at least one holder discharge channel, —a first filter cartridge part having at least one first cartridge intake channel and at least one first cartridge discharge channel, —a second filter cartridge channel having at least one second cartridge intake channel and at least one second cartridge discharge channel, wherein the filter medium holder is arranged in an arrangement position between the first filter cartridge part and the second filter cartridge part in a fluid-tight manner, wherein the at least one holder intake channel has a fluid connection with the at least one first cartridge intake channel and the at least one second cartridge intake channel, in order to form a module intake channel, wherein the at least one holder discharge channel has a fluid connection with the at least one first cartridge discharge channel and the at least one second cartridge discharge channel, in order to form a module discharge channel, wherein the module intake channel has a fluid connection with the retentate side of the filter medium and wherein the module discharge channel has a fluid connection with the filtrate side of the filter medium, and a modular filter system.

摘要: A mixing apparatus (1) for mixing a fluid and/or solid. The mixing apparatus includes a mixing container (100) having an interior in which the fluid and/or solid can be arranged. A feed-through passage (10) extends through a container wall (101) of the mixing container. A drive shaft (50) is fed through the feed-through passage, to drive a stirring element (30) arranged at least partly in the interior of the mixing container. The stirring element is used to mix the fluid and/or solid arranged in the mixing container. A drive-side shaft end (51) of the drive shaft couples the drive shaft to a drive (120) arranged outside of the mixing container. An adjustable seal (70) seals off the feed-through passage. A setting apparatus (80) is provided to switch the adjustable seal into at least two sealing operation states having different sealing effects.

摘要: Embodiments include a device for continuous virus inactivation during a protein production process comprising a first and a second fluid inlet, a first mixer, and a fluid outlet. A first liquid stream containing a target protein is introducible into the device through the first fluid inlet and is combinable in a predefined volume ratio with a second, virus-inactivating liquid stream introducible into the device through the second fluid inlet to form a third, reactive liquid stream which is conducted through the first mixer for mixing in order to generate predefined, virus-inactivating conditions. The device further comprises a head part and, downstream of the first mixer and upstream of the fluid outlet, a residence time arrangement fluidically connected to the head part for provision of a minimum residence time of the third stream, wherein the head part and the residence time arrangement are rigidly fastened to each other.

摘要: A connecting system (1) has at least one connector (2) for a filter cassette (4) that can be inserted into a filter holder and has filter layers (5) between two end plates (6), and seals (7) between the filter layers (5) and/or between the end plates (6) and an adjacent filter layer (5). The connector has tensioning parts that engage in one another in a longitudinally displaceable manner and that can be fixed to the end plates (6) via their ends facing away from one another. The connector exerts a pretensioning force onto the end plates (6) when it is deflected to its maximum extent. The pretensioning force pulls the end plates (6) towards the filter layers (5), and when a contact-pressure force superimposed on the pretensioning force is applied to the end plates (6), the tensioning parts can be pushed towards one another correspondingly with the end plates (6).
