    摘要: A valve assembly has a valve seat formed with valve holes which can be opened and closed by sliding a valve body on the valve seat. Its water stopping capacity is kept high after long, continuous use. Its handle operability is also kept high. A valve seat 6 or valve body 11 is made of a synthetic resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a polycyanoarylether resin, and 40-165 parts by weight of glassy carbon having an average particle diameter not exceeding 25 .mu.m. This resin composition may further comprise not more than 30 parts by weight of a fluororesin powder such as PTFE. Otherwise, the valve assembly may have a valve body 11 made of a ceramic material, and a valve seat 6 made of a synthetic resin having a land portion 12 formed on the center of its surface opposite the valve body 11. The diameter of the land portion 12 is smaller than the outer diameter of the valve body 11. Even if the valve seat 6 is deformed under water supply pressure, the land portion 12 can retain its shape. Thus, it is possible to prevent the formation of a gap between the valve body 11 and the land portion 12. A plurality of concentric grooves may be formed in the bottom surface of the lever holder 14. Which may bulge at its inner edge portion so that it has a dome shape. A lubricating grease should be retained in the grooves.

    摘要: A bearing bush, disposed in a shaft hole of an external gear of a seat reclining device, which slidingly contacts wedge-shaped pieces. The seat reclining device has a differential transmission mechanism for adjusting an open angle of a hinge connecting a seating surface of a seat and a backrest thereof to each other. The differential transmission mechanism has an internal gear; an external gear, having a smaller number of teeth than the internal gear, which engages the internal gear; a pair of the wedge-shaped pieces disposed in a circular arc-shaped gap formed between the shaft hole of the external gear and a shaft of the internal gear with tapered ends of the wedge-shaped pieces opposed to each other; and a compression coil spring for imparting an elastic force to the wedge-shaped pieces in a direction in which the wedge-shaped pieces depart from each other. When the wedge-shaped pieces are moved in sliding contact with the bearing bush inside the circular arc-shaped gap with the wedge-shaped pieces being pressed by a cam provided on the shaft of the internal gear, the external gear disengages from the internal gear, whereby the open angle of the hinge is adjustable. A sliding surface of the bearing bush is formed of a fluorocarbon resin composition containing fluorocarbon resin to which thermoplastic resin, carbon fibers, and molybdenum disulfide are essentially added.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a plate-shaped peeling member having a thin metal plate and a resin sheet adhered thereto by winding the resin sheet around a leading edge of the thin metal plate. The plate-shaped peeling member peels paper from a roller or a belt of an electrophotographic apparatus, with a leading edge of the thin metal plate in contact with or being adjacent to the roller or the belt. The method includes the steps of stacking an adhesive agent-applied resin sheet to one main surface of a thin metal plate without pulling both end portions of the adhesive agent-applied resin sheet in a longitudinal direction thereof, with an unstuck portion left on the adhesive agent-applied resin sheet in a widthwise direction thereof and with the adhesive agent-applied resin sheet being pressurized in a longitudinal direction thereof; temporarily sticking the unstuck portion left on the adhesive agent-applied resin sheet in the widthwise direction thereof to other main surface thereof by folding back the unstuck portion along a leading edge of the thin metal plate toward the other main surface thereof without pulling the both end portions of the adhesive agent-applied resin sheet in the longitudinal direction thereof; and fixing the temporarily unstuck portion of the adhesive agent-applied resin sheet to the other main surface of the thin metal plate, while the unstuck portion is being pressurized in the longitudinal direction of the adhesive agent-applied resin sheet from approximately a center of the adhesive agent-applied resin sheet in the longitudinal direction thereof.

    摘要: A constant-velocity joint includes an outer ring formed with an annular space therein having an opening at one end thereof. The annular space is defined by a radially outer wall and a radially inner wall. One of the radially inner and outer walls is formed with three axially extending track grooves circumferentially spaced apart from each other by 120 degrees. A cage is inserted in the annular space with one end thereof protruding from the opening of the annular space. A second shaft is provided on the one end of the cage. Balls are retained by the cage and adapted to roll in the track grooves. At least one of the outer ring and the cage is formed of a synthetic resin.

The lens holder is formed in integration with a boss by injection-molding and has a hole capable of holding an objective lens on a surface of the lens holder confronting an optical disc. The boss having a gate and a contact portion which contacts a ejector pin is formed on a peripheral side surface of the lens holder when the injection molding is performed and cut off from the lens holder after the injection molding finishes.

The trunnion member has an outer periphery formed with three first spherical surfaces circumferentially spaced apart from each other and three second spherical surfaces circumferentially spaced apart from each other and each disposed between adjacent first spherical surfaces. Each first spherical surface is in contact with one of the flat surfaces at a point offset from the circumferential center of the flat surface in one circumferential direction. Each second spherical surface is in contact with another flat surface at a point offset from the circumferential center of the flat surface in the other circumferential direction. At least one of the outer ring and the trunnion member is made of a synthetic resin.

A fit-in hole is so formed on the handle lever that the disk actuating stem is loosely fitted therein, with a gap formed between a side surfaced of the disk actuating stem and a gap-defining inner surface of the handle lever; a spacer so sized as to close the gap is provided; a spacer insertion hole is formed in the handle lever such that the spacer insertion hole is open on an outer surface of the handle lever; and the spacer is inserted into the spacer insertion hole to fix the disk actuating stem fitted in the spacer insertion hole.
