摘要: In making a contact determination between an object and a display screen, a display apparatus of the present invention is capable of adjusting a region on which to make a contact determination in response to the displayed image in a liquid crystal panel, so that the influence by the displayed image can be suppressed. Moreover, for simplifying the contact determination process, the display apparatus sets solid a region in the picked-up image that is not a target of the contact determination, with a predetermined gradation value.

摘要: Two unshielded photosensors to determine the outside-light illuminance and two shielded photosensors are placed alternating both in the longitudinal direction and in the lateral direction. Then, the difference between the output of the unshielded photosensors and the output of the shielded photosensors is obtained. Accordingly, even when the thermoelectric currents differ from each other due to a variation in characteristics between the elements and a difference in the thermal distribution between the elements, the sensor currents can be corrected, so that a photodetector circuit which stably determines the outside-light illuminance can be provided.

摘要: A first swash plate 18 is coupled to a drive shaft 16 to be rotatable integrally with the drive shaft 16. Single head pistons 23 are coupled to the first swash plate 18 via shoes 25A, 25B. Rotation of the drive shaft 16 rotates the first swash plate 18, which causes the pistons 23 to reciprocate and compress refrigerant gas. The first swash plate 18 supports an annular second swash plate 51 to be rotatable relative to the first swash plate 18 via a ball bearing 52. The second swash plate 51 is arranged between the first swash plate 18and the shoes 25B that receive a compressive load to be slidable with respect to the first swash plate 18 and the shoes 25B. Therefore, the first swash plate reliably slides with respect to the second swash plate.

摘要: Disclosed is an intermediate transfer recording medium for use in a method which comprises the steps of: forming an image using the intermediate transfer recording medium on an object; and forming a protective layer on the image. In this case, fastness properties can be fully imparted to the image, the protective layer can be transferred onto the image with high accuracy in a simple manner, blocking and the like attributable to the exposure of a pressure-sensitive adhesive do not take place, and the design and the fastness properties are excellent. An image forming method using the intermediate transfer recording medium is also disclosed. The intermediate transfer recording medium 1 comprises: a sheet substrate 4 provided with a resin layer 5; and a transparent sheet 2 provided with a receptive layer 3, the transparent sheet 2 provided with the receptive layer 3 having been put on top of the sheet substrate 4 provided with the resin layer 5 so that the resin layer 5 faces the transparent sheet 2 on its side remote from the receptive layer 3, the resin layer 5 being separable from the transparent sheet 2 to transfer the transparent sheet 2 provided with a receptive layer 3 onto an object, the transparent sheet 2 portion provided with the receptive layer 3 having been half cut (8) in a specific shape and in a predetermined width around the outer periphery of the region 7 to be transferred onto the object. A transfer image is formed on the receptive layer, and the portion with the image formed thereon is re-transferred onto an object to form an image on the object.
