摘要： A radiation-sensitive resin composition comprising an alkali-soluble novolak resin and a 1,2-quinonediazide compound, wherein the alakli-soluble novolak resin comprises a mixture of:95-50 parts by weight of Resin A having a standard polystyrene-reduced weight-average molecular weight of 2,000-20,000 [Resin A is at least one resin selected from the group consisting of a resin obtained by polycondensation of m-cresol and at least one phenol represented by the structural formula (I) or (I'): ##STR1## wherein m is 2 or 3, with at least one aldehyde and a resin obtained by polycondensation of m-cresol, p-cresol and at least one phenol repreented by the above structural formula (I) or (I') with at least one aldehyde] and5-50 parts by weight of Resin B having a standard polystyrene-reduced weight-average molecular weight of 200-2,000 [Resin B is a resin obtained by polycondensation of at least one phenol represented by the structural formula (II): ##STR2## wherein n is 0, 1, 2 or 3, with at least one aldehyde]. In the resin composition, the mixture of Resin A and Resin B may further contain Resin C which is an ester of Resin B with a 1,2-quinonediazidesulfonic acid. The radiation-sensitive resin compopsition is suitable for use as a positive type resist having high sensitivity, excellent developability, high resolution and excellent heat resistance.

摘要： An engine blower includes a centrifugal blower having a volute case in which a fan is accommodated; an engine attached to the centrifugal blower for driving the fan; a carburetor mounted to the engine via an insulator; and a lead wire that establishes conduction between the engine and the carburetor. The electrical potential difference between the engine and the carburetor can be eliminated, which prevents electrostatic discharge between the engine and the carburetor even when static electricity is built up in a volute case or a ventilation tube. Accordingly, ignition timing can be prevented from shifting due to an influence on an electrical circuit by the discharge within an ignition unit.

摘要： A membrane separator assembly for separating solids from water includes opposing enclosure wall structures, a membrane module unit, and a gas diffuser disposed below the membrane module unit. The membrane module unit includes a plurality of membrane modules respectively having at least one separating membrane extending between at least two membrane fixing members. At least one of the membrane fixing members has a main passage which is in fluid communication with a membrane passageway. The membrane passageway is accessible to water via permeation through the separating membranes and is inaccessible to solids which are impermeable relative to the separating membranes. The membrane separator assembly is preferably used with a detergent containing percarbonate, preferably sodium percarbonate. The assembly also includes a gas diffuser with two opposing main pipes and branch pipes extending therebetween to avoid undesired pressure differentials when cleaning the assembly.

The gas diffuser includes main pipes, branch pipes extending between the main pipes and containing gas discharge ports, wherein the branch pipes have a smaller cross-sectional area than the cross-sectional area of the main pipes. The gas discharge ports are further sized, constructed and arranged to reduce the possibility or likelihood of sludge from blocking the ports or entering the branch pipes. This object is achieved either by placement of the ports on the bottom sides of the branch pipes or, alternatively, by construction of the ports to include conduit members, themselves having an arrangement of openings or coverings to prevent or reduce the likelihood of sludge from blocking the ports or entering the branch pipes.

摘要： An object is to provide a highly integrated hollow fiber membrane module and hollow fiber membrane module unit as filtration processing devices which are appropriate for miniaturization, and to also provide a purification tank with a hollow fiber membrane module unit installed therein. To achieve this there is provided a hollow fiber membrane module in which at least one end of a hollow fiber membrane with hollow fibers deployed in a plane is fixed with a fixing resin to a collector pipe in a fluid tight manner, constructed such that an open ended tip of the hollow fiber membrane is inserted into an aperture provided in the collector pipe, and in this condition, fixing resin is filled into the aperture and hardened, thereby securing the open ended hollow fiber membrane to the collector pipe. Also provided is a hollow fiber membrane module unit wherein a plurality of the hollow fiber membrane modules are positioned proximately, and a purification tank with the hollow fiber membrane module units installed therein.
