    摘要: A remote keyless entry (RKE) circuit (100) and method reduces the amount of current draw by duty cycling the RKE circuit (100) to ensure that a microcontroller (104) in the RKE circuit (100) is awakened only when needed to evaluate RF data. A total operating period for the RKE circuit (100) includes a transient period, a data monitoring period, and a sleep period. The RKE circuit (100) includes a pulse blocking circuit (109) that prevents a receiver stabilization pulse from waking up the microcontroller (104). If no data is received during the data monitoring period, the microcontroller (104) remains in a sleep mode for the remainder of the operating period.

    摘要: At a vehicle, a first signal is received and the first signal is of an ASK-compliant modulation type. A second signal is received and the second signal is of a FSK-compliant modulation type. Based upon a set of predetermined criteria, one of the first signal and the second signal is selected, the predetermined criteria at least in part indicating a priority as between ASK-compliant and FSK-compliant communications. The selected signal is transmitted to a vehicular controller over a single transmission line.

    摘要: A tire pressure monitoring system includes a receiver for processing signals and alerting an operator of the vehicle should conditions within any of the tires fall outside a desired range. The transmitters within the tires emit shorter transmission signals during operation by eliminating transmission of the identification code. The receiver stores the identifier for each transmitter for comparison to subsequent transmissions. Subsequent transmissions do not include the identifier. The receiver combines the saved identifier with the value provided in the check portion of the incoming transmission. If the combination of the saved identifier with the value provided in the check portion meets a defined criteria, than the signal is recognized as originating from one of the transmitters.

The process window has an upper time limit for initiating cooling.

The asynchronous duty cycle ensures that the sniffing periods conform to the actual length of the RKE data and TPMS data periods more closely, minimizing the likelihood of false wakeups caused by noise output by the receiver.
