摘要: Spray coating is performed utilizing a mixture of refractory material and a combustionable metal powder. The size of the particle of the metal in the mixture is selected so that the particle size is large enough to be treated safely and is small enough to be transported by means of a gas flow. As a carrier gas for carrying the mixture, a non-combustionable gas or fuel gas is used. A fuel gas and a combustion-assisting gas are discharged toward the section to be treated on the surface for directing a combustioning frame. The refractor material with the carrier gas is discharged into the frame established by the fuel gas and the combustion-assisting gas. The average size of the metal particle to be used in the spray coating is limited to be greater than 50 .mu.m. By enlarging the particle size of the metal, combustion of the metal particle becomes difficult. Combustion of such large particle size metal can be assisted by discharging the combustion-assisting gas together with the fuel gas. This compensates combustion efficiency to be dropped by utilizing the larger particle size metal.

摘要: A belt type cast sheet continuous caster of the type comprises a pair of opposed circulatorily movable belts, a pair of opposed side plates arranged along opposite side edge portions of the movable belts, coolers which each have numerous water feed openings and water discharge openings opened to the movable belt and are arranged behind the respective movable belts, and movable partition plates which are placed in respective cooling headers and each connected to driving means for moving the partition plates in a width direction of a cast sheet. A casting space is defined by the movable belt and the side plates. Melt leakage at sliding portions between mold short side plates and the metal belts in a belt type cast sheet continuous caster comprising the metal belts and the mold short side plates arranged along side edge portions of the metal belts and cooleres, which each have numerous water fed openings and water discharge openings opened to the metal belt and are arranged behind the respective metal belts, is prevented by controlling gaps between the metal belts and the mold short side plates through varying a pushing force of the metal belts to the mold short side plates.

摘要: A method and apparatus for continuous casting of an elongated thin metal strip achieves substantially high yield without allowing break-out or sticking. The method for casting a continuous elongated metal strip includes a step of driving endless belts at a varying speed so as to apply jerks to the slightly and half-solidified metal that release the metal from the surfaces of the stationary side walls. Applying jerks to the casting chamber by varying the driving speed of the endless belt ensures that the solidifying metal will travel smoothly and thus ensures a high manufacturing yield.

摘要: According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a sound characteristic output module configured to analyze audio data in video content data, thereby outputting sound characteristic information indicative of sound characteristics of the audio data. A talk section detection process module detects talk sections in which talks are made by persons, which are included in the video content data, on the basis of the sound characteristic information, and classifies the detected talk sections into a plurality of groups which are associated with different speakers. A display process module displays, on a time bar which is representative of a sequence of the video content data, a plurality of bar areas indicative of positions of the detected talk sections in the sequence of the video content data, in different display modes in association with the groups.

摘要: The present invention provides a metallic coating having a sheen and having a discontinuous structure at high productivity and low cost by using sputtering. A resin product includes a resin base material, and a metallic coating having a sheen and a discontinuous structure that is deposited on the resin base material so as to include a portion in which a high-formation metal that relatively readily forms a discontinuous structure when using vacuum vapor deposition is sputtered, and thereafter, a low-formation metal that does not relatively readily form a discontinuous structure when using vacuum vapor deposition is sputtered. The high-formation metal and the low-formation metal are selected from at least two species of metals whose crystal structures are identical and whose lattice constant difference is within 10%.
