    摘要: A rotating connector including a movable body having a lower holder with an outer extension portion which faces a widthwise direction end of a flexible cable. The flexible cable has a connecting end portion which extends beyond the outer extension portion and which is connected to a stationary side connecting portion of a first housing. For example, a cutout is formed in the flexible cable to prevent an edge of the connecting end portion of the flexible cable and the outer extension portion from contacting each other at a location where they cross each other. Using a simple structure, the rotating connector which makes it possible to reduce the level of sliding noise produced when sliding occurs between the flexible cable and the outer extension portion of the lower holder of the movable body.

    摘要: A multifunction peripheral (MFP) transmits read data (user identification information) obtained by a reader to a user-manager server device via a network. The user-manager server device specifies a data format of the read data, converts the data format into another data format to specify a user ID corresponding to the read data, performs a user authentication using the user ID, and transmits authorization information corresponding to a logged-in user. Further, the MFP receives the identification information corresponding to the logged-in user by a user authentication method specified by authentication setting data, and transmits the identification information to the user-manager server device. The authentication setting data is updated by the master authentication data stored in the user-manager server device. The user-manager server device performs the user authentication using the identification information, and transmits the authorization information corresponding to the logged-in user.

    摘要: A k-source N1×N2 nonblocking multicast switching network has N1 input ports and N2 output ports with each port having k independent channels, in which each input channel can perform a multicast connection, i.e. send data simultaneously to multiple output channels, without interrupting existing multicast connections from other input channels. We provide the construction and the routing algorithm of a multi-source nonblocking multicast three-stage switching network. A k-source N1×N2 such a switching network consists of three stages of switch modules (which are k-source multicast switching networks with smaller sizes). It has r1 k-source n1×m switch modules in the input stage, m k-source r1×r2 switch modules in the middle stage, and r2 k-source m×n2 switch modules in the output stage with N1=n1r1 and N2=n2r2. There are exactly k channels (corresponding to one port of k-source switch module) between every two switch modules in two consecutive stages. The nonblocking condition for the multicast network is m > min 1 ≤ x ≤ min  { n 2 - 1 , r 2 }  { ⌊ ( n 1 - 1 k )  x ⌋ + ( n 2 - 1 )  r 2 1 x } A refining approach to further reduce the above m value by reducing m′ (which may start from ( n 2 - 1 )  r 2 1 x ) for the chosen x in the above is also disclosed.
