摘要： A noninvasive oximeter sensor for controlling and optimizing the minimum detection depth in the tissue of a patient is disclosed. In general, a minimum detection depth of 0.35 mm in the skin is considered optimum. The reflectance oximeter sensor component configuration of the present invention achieves the minimum detection depth. The present invention offers a more accurate indication of blood oxygen saturation in a patient's arterial blood than was available from previous reflectance oximeter sensors.

摘要： An apparatus for evaluating a peripheral blood flow of a living subject, including a reflection-type pulse wave detecting device including two pairs of light-emitting and light-receiving elements provided such that a distance between the light-emitting and light-receiving elements of one pair is different from that of the other pair; and a determining device for determining an attenuation coefficient of the light beam emitted by the light-emitting element of each pair, based on (a) an intensity of the light beam which is emitted by the light-emitting element of each pair and (b) an intensity of the light which has been emitted from the light-emitting element of each pair, reflected from skin of the subject, and subsequently received by the light-receiving element of each pair. The apparatus further includes an evaluating device for evaluating peripheral blood flow of the subject, based on a ratio of the attenuation coefficient of the light beam emitted by the light-emitting element of one pair to the attenuation coefficient of the light beam emitted by the light-emitting element of the other pair, and/or, a display which displays a change of the ratio of the attenuation coefficient of the light beam emitted by the light-emitting element of one pair to the attenuation coefficient of the light beam emitted by the light-emitting element of the other pair.

Therefore, a housing as the disposable part includes a rotor having pole faces extending on the outer-peripheral surface and projecting inward from the inner-peripheral surface and an impeller attached to the rotor, and a stator as a reusable part includes three or more electromagnets for electromagnetic coupling for forming a magnetic coupling between the stator and the rotor, a torque transmission disk formed by sandwiching a ring-shaped permanent magnet between two upper and lower ring members and having pole faces corresponding to the pole faces projecting from the inner-peripheral surface of the rotor formed to project for generating a magnetic coupling between stator and rotor, a motor for rotating the torque transmission disk, and a displacement gauge for measuring displacement of the rotor.

摘要： A magnetically-levitated centrifugal pump, in which permanent magnets are not used for disposable sections, is provided with a pump head section and a pump section. The pump section comprises a stator, a torque transmission disc, a motor, a displacement sensor, and a pump housing. The stator has longer depth than protrusion length of a rotor accommodation section in which permanent magnets are not used, is equipped with a rotor insertion section, in which the rotor accommodation section is disposed so as to be able to be inserted and removed, on the side of one end section, and disposes three or more than three electromagnets for magnetic bearings, which magnetically couple with the rotor, at equal intervals. The torque transmission disc, which is disposed inside the rotor insertion section and which magnetically couples with the rotor, is formed by bonding ring components, which are made from magnetic material and are provided with protrusions at positions opposite protrusions on the rotor, between plural ring-shaped permanent magnets, which are magnetized in the thickness direction thereof, such that like-poles face each other, and then by placing another ring component on top of the uppermost ring-shaped permanent magnet. The motor rotationally drives the torque transmission disc. The displacement sensor measures radial displacement of the rotor.
