The suture control device may comprise an insert having an outer surface adjacent to an inner surface of the at least one notch in which it is positioned. Also, the annular frame may have a planar surface at the plurality of spaced notches, wherein the at least one suture control device is positioned so that it does not extend above the planar surface of the annular frame.
