Abstract:
A low-voltage power switch having a switching chamber with a switching contact arrangement and an arc extinguishing device. Sealing of the switching chamber is achieved by an apron-like projection on the movable contact support in combination with a stationary curved recess and by ribs opposite the movable contact support and a sealing arrangement on the stationary counter-contact.
Abstract:
A switching contact system of a low-voltage circuit breaker has a bus with cord-like flexible conductors attached thereto. The flexible conductors are accommodated between a connecting surface (30) of the bus (26) and an end piece (27), which is in contact with the connecting surface (30) of the bus (26) with at least two contact surfaces. The parts are connected by heat effect, such as soldering or electron beam welding.
Abstract:
A power circuit breaker includes an insertion rack which is arranged in a distribution unit and a lock system for locking the power circuit breaker in the insertion rack in a locking system. The locking system can be actuated by a drive mechanism, in particular by the switch shaft of the power circuit breaker.
Abstract:
A switch contact arrangement including a contact support is disclosed, including a contact support, at least two switch contacts, and at least one spacer. The switch contacts are pivotally mounted on the contact support while being respectively provided with at least one associated terminal lead that encompasses a flexible section. In order to reduce the driving forces required for the switching movements of the switch contacts, the at least one spacer engages between the flexible sections of adjacent switch contacts.
Abstract:
A low-voltage circuit breaker has an enclosure with a rear wall and a front part, in which there is a switching contact system with connecting bars. Each of the connecting bars has a web arranged transversally to the longitudinal direction of the connecting bars; the webs are used for contacting the mating surfaces of the rear wall of the enclosure. Fastening means act in the longitudinal direction of the connecting bars.
Abstract:
An apparatus is disclosed which allows for simple fitting and removal of the arc splitter plates of an arc-quenching chamber. A replaceable arc splitter cassette is proposed for a circuit breaker having a quenching chamber cover and an arc splitter stack. The arc splitter cassette further includes at least one interlocking element for fixing the arc splitter cassette to the circuit breaker in an interlocking manner, and at least one latching and/or snap-action connection element to fix the arc splitter cassette to the circuit breaker without screws for the switching operation.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a low voltage circuit breaker which comprises a contact system for a principal current and an arc extinction chamber. An arc transmitting element is disposed between the contact system for the principal current and the arc extinction chamber. Said arc transmitting element comprises at least one arc guiding element which makes it possible to direct said arc in a certain manner to the arc extinction chamber.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a switch contact arrangement with a first moving switch contact, with a second switch contact, provided for the first switch contact and with an erosion display, for the switch contacts. The erosion display comprises an erosion pointer and a display surface or display edge. The display pointer follows the movement of the first switch contact and, on closing the contacts, then only extends over the display surface or display edge when the value for the erosion of the switch contacts is less than a given maximum value. In order to be able to shorten the display pointer in the unused condition without a special tool to give a separation from the display surface or display edge, the value of which corresponds to the value of the maximum permitted erosion of the switch contacts, at least one marking for the cutting of the display pointer is provided, whereby the marking is separated from the display surface or display edge by the maximum permitted erosion of the switch contacts.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a switching contact arrangement for a power switch, which is characterized in that a plurality of contact levers are pivoted on a contact support (30) by means of a bearing pin (37) and that the contact support (30) is provided with at least three support elements (32a, 32b, 31) for radially supporting the bearing pin. In order to simplify production of the contact support, at least three of the support elements (32a, 32b, 31) are configured as a one-piece shaped element that forms the contact support (30). At least one of the support elements can have a metal element (31) that is at least partially embedded in a plastic shaped element (43) of the contact support (30). Said metal element (31) can be configured as a sheet metal part.
