    摘要: A display panel control system and a display device are disclosed. The control system includes a system chip is configured for receiving video signals and for analyzing the video signals to obtain driving signals and timing signals, and a driving control board is configured for receiving the driving signals and the timing signals, and for controlling a display panel to display in accordance with the driving signals and the timing signals. The control system integrates the function of obtaining the driving signals and the timing signals on the system chip so as to simplify the structure of the display panel control system and to reduce the manufacturing cost.

The compensation circuit includes first capacitor, first resistor, second resistor and operational amplifier; wherein first terminal of first capacitor connected to receiving terminal of gate driver of LCD for receiving shutdown voltage to shutdown TFT; first terminal of first resistor connected to second terminal of first capacitor; first terminal of second resistor connected to second terminal of first resistor and second terminal of second resistor connected to output terminal of operational amplifier; positive input terminal of operational amplifier receiving an externally supplied shutdown voltage for gate driver, and negative input terminal of operational amplifier connected to second terminal of first resistor; wherein connection between first capacitor and receiving terminal of gate drive independent from connection between output terminal of operational amplifier and receiving terminal of gate driver.

    摘要: The liquid crystal display (LCD) driving system contains a Printed Circuit Board (PCB), a Timing Controller, Source Drivers, an Inter-Integrated Circuit (I2C) bus, and Gate Drivers. The Timing Controller is configured on the PCB for transforming control signals from the LCD to data and scan control signals. The I2C bus connects the Timing Controller to the Source Drivers. The Timing Controller delivers data and scan control signals to the Source Drivers through the I2C bus following a protocol. The Gate Drivers are electrically connected to the Source Drivers for receiving scan control signals. The driving system is capable of employing fewer transmission wires to deliver the same control signals of the prior art from the Timing Controller by configuring I2C bus between the Timing Controller and the Source Drivers, thereby reducing wiring area on the PCB and wiring difficulty. A LCD driving method is also provided.

    摘要: The present invention provides a driving method for a display panel, a timing controller and a liquid crystal display. The method includes: when detecting that an image frame to be displayed is an overloaded image, a timing controller switches an operation frequency from a first frequency to a second frequency; outputting a timing control signal to a source driver with the second frequency such that after the source driver receives the timing control signal, the source driver outputs the data driving signal having a lower frequency to drive the display panel to display the overloaded image; wherein the first frequency is higher than the second frequency. Through the above way, the output power consumption of the source driver when displaying an overloaded image is decreased, and avoid rising temperature to affect the display quality.

    摘要: A liquid crystal device (LCD) and a driving method thereof are disclosed. The LCD includes a display panel, a data driven circuit configured for providing data voltages to the data lines, and a power reducing module. The display panel includes data lines, scanning lines intersecting with the data lines, and a matrix of pixels arranged in intersections of rows and columns. The power reducing module is configured for storing a most-reload-image, comparing the data of the most-reload-image and the data of an input image, determining if the input image is a reload image increasing a power consumption of the data driven circuit, and changing a polarity inversion method of a timing controller. By changing the polarity inversion method of the timing controller basing on the input images, the display performance is guaranteed and the power consumption of the data driven circuit is reduced at the same time.

    摘要: A display device and a method for displaying image are proposed. The first TFT and the second TFT are connected to a scan line and a data line. The first TFT and the second TFT are connected to a first sub-pixel area and a second sub-pixel area respectively. A switch unit is used for turning on/off a first current channel when the display panel is under 2D/3D display mode. The display device of the present disclosure avoids color shift in a large viewing angle under two-dimensional display mode, and displays identical luminance of left eye and right eye images under three-dimensional display mode, avoiding uncomfortable to the viewer.
