摘要: A manufacturing method for a defect-free cast product comprises the steps of forming a cavity surrounded by a plurality of dies, charging molten conductive material into the cavity, and applying pressure to the conductive material by pressure means. In the method, additional pressure is selectively applied to the portion of the conductive material which may suffer shrinkage cavities due to delay in solidification, by utilizing the pressure applied by the pressure means and by relatively moving a portion of the dies with respect to the conductive material when the conductive material solidifies and shrinks, whereby shrinkage cavities are prevented. Accordingly, with a cast rotor core obtained by this method, it is possible to prevent shrinkage cavities from occurring in the conductive material and it is also possible to improve the efficiency and torque characteristics of the motor, thereby achieving reductions in the size and weight of the motor.

摘要: A process and an apparatus for manufacturing a cast product in which the cavity 2c is defined by a top die 1, a bottom die 2 and a slidable die insert 11 relative to the top die 1 and a pressure is applied to the die insert 11 by a hydraulic cylinder 13 before casting, injecting a molten metal 6 at a pressure higher than that on the die insert 11 to cause the die insert 11 to move rearward, whereby the molten metal 6 is additionally filled in the cavity 2c by an amount corresponding to the shrinkage due to pressurization, and a pressure on the molten metal 6 within the cavity 2c is maintained through the die insert 11 even after the molten metal 6 in the gate 2b has been solidified and the injection pressure has: not been transmitted anymore.

摘要: When a cell load becomes higher than a call setup threshold value for a first channel (CS channel), a second channel (PS channel) is changed into a channel having a low transmission rate. Consequently, the cell load is reduced and no cell loss occurs in the first channel. Therefore, the call loss rate of a first communication service is lowered. Simultaneously, a handover threshold value is higher than the call setup threshold value for the first channel so that a failure rate of handover is lowered.

摘要: In a mobile communication system, when a connection necessary to provide a service supporting high-speed data communication referred to as an MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) is configured on an Iu interface, contention with the other packet communication service is eliminated. As a logical connection established between an SGSN (Serving GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) Support Node) and a Radio Network Controller in a Core Network 10, a PS (Packet Switching processing) functional connection for an existing packet communication service and a connection for a new MBMS service offering high-speed data communication are provided separately and independently from each other. This eliminates the contention between different types of services of the PS service and the MBMS service to thereby enable executing processings of such different types of services without being conscious of mutual processings. In addition, release processing of the connection may be executed independently to each service, thereby eliminating processing complexity in the SGSN.

摘要: A network connecting device 100 comprises a LAN I/F 130 for performing communications with a LAN, a N-ISDN I/F 170 for performing a connectionless transmission, and a ATM I/F 160 for performing a connection-oriented transmission. A plurality of networks having different transfer systems are separately used, and communication channels are switched as occasion demands. A connection table section 200 holds correspondence among individual communication channels. A channel setting control program section 500 allocates a communication channel for new communication data. A kicking-out program section 1300 makes a communication channel used for low-priority communication data available for high-priority communication data. A recovery program section 700 reallocates a communication channel for communication data that has changed a communication channel after completion of high-priority communications. Thus, during connecting the LAN with a wide area communication network, data packets currently under call setting control ca be prevented from staying, and line utilizing efficiency ca be increased.

摘要: A power feed system for feeding power to an electric vehicle includes a motor driving circuit provided with a smoothing capacitor. The motor driving circuit is capable of preventing the smoothing capacitor from being discharged and has a comparatively short main current supply line to reduce unnecessary power loss. The motor driving circuit converts dc supply power into ac supply power to feed the ac supply power to a motor. The motor driving circuit includes the smoothing capacitor and a plurality of semiconductor switching devices, which are built in the motor. An electromagnetic relay is placed within a case housing the motor driving circuit and the electromagnetic relay is controlled to supply a main current to the motor driving circuit and to interrupt the supply of the main current to the motor driving circuit.

摘要: A system is provided for building, operating, and managing a virtual network which integrates the configuration, the operation, and the management of plural information devices connected to a network. The system includes agents for operating, and managing information devices in the respective devices, a physical manager for building, operating, and managing the information devices, and a logical manager for logically building, operating, and managing the information devices. The agent operates to control the settings and the change of the information device in which the agent is mounted and communicates the information with the physical manager. The physical manager operates to manage the agent of each information device and communicates the information with a user and the logical manager. The logical manager operates to build, operate, and manage the directory services, the users, and so forth and, when these directories and user are newly set or changed, to communicate the information about the new settings and the change with the physical manager.
