摘要: The present invention relates to a laser scanning microscope capable of acquiring suitable fluorescent images. A fluorescence detection unit 26 measures a plurality of intensities of fluorescent light of different wavelengths that is excited by irradiation of laser light and emitted from a sample 12. Moreover, a CLEM processing unit 28 performs control, for each single pixel scanning time that is the amount of time during which a range corresponding to a single pixel of the image is scanned, to discontinue irradiation of the laser light in at least one of the case in which all of the plurality of intensities of fluorescent light are less than a lower limit threshold value at a lower limit value judgment time that is shorter than the time during which a range corresponding to a single pixel of the image is scanned, and the case in which any one of the plurality of intensities of fluorescent light exceeds an upper limit threshold value during the time during which a range corresponding to a single pixel of the image is scanned.

摘要: Disclosed is an image forming apparatus allowing travel of a tabbed sheet, in which even when a tabbed sheet is made to travel, no erroneous jamming detection occurs, thus allowing the tabbed sheet to travel in the same manner as in the case of an ordinary sheet. The image forming apparatus includes: a sheet detecting unit arranged in a sheet transport path for transporting a sheet and adapted to detect the sheet; and a control unit which, when the tabbed sheet is made to travel, performs control so as to make a set value for a reference timer for a jamming judgment to be made through detection of a sheet by the sheet detecting unit different from a set value for an ordinary sheet.

摘要: A method for die-casting a magnesium alloy comprises the step of casting a die cast product free of any hot tearing, shrinkage tearing and shrinkage cavity starting from a magnesium alloy comprising i) 1 to 10% by weight of aluminum; ii) at least one member selected from the group consisting of 0.2 to 5% by weight of a rare earth metal, 0.02 to 5% by weight of calcium and 0.2 to 10% by weight of silicon; and iii) not more than 1.5% by weight of manganese, and the balance of magnesium and inevitable impurities, using a cold chamber type die-casting machine, wherein a) the temperature of the molten magnesium alloy is maintained at 650 to 750°C.; b) the charging velocity of the molten metal is set at {fraction (1/100)} to {fraction (10/100)} second; and c) the intensified pressure after the charging is set at a level of not less than 200 kgf/cm2. Thus, a die cast product free of any hot tearing, shrinkage tearing and shrinkage cavity can be produced by appropriately specifying injection conditions, mold conditions, conditions for melting a magnesium alloy and mold plan in the cold chamber type die-casting machine, or by appropriately controlling the temperature of the molten metal from the molten metal-accommodating pot to the gate portion of the machine.

摘要: An up/down counter device includes a D-type flip-flop circuit for producing a count signal of the 0th bit in synchronism with a clock signal, and 1st to n-th flip-flop circuits for producing count signals of the 1st to the n-th bits in synchronism with a clock signal. The first logic circuit is connected between the output of the D-type flip-flop circuit and the JK terminals of the first flip-flop circuit. The first stage logic circuit includes a first logic circuit section supplied with an up/down mode signal and the output signal of the D-type flip-flop circuit, and a second logic circuit connected in series with with the first logic circuit. Each of the 2nd to the n-th stage logic circuits includes a first logic circuit which is connected between the output terminal of the prestage flip-flop circuit and the JK terminals of the post stage flip-flop circuit, and a second logic circuit section connected to the first logic circuit. The output of the first logic circuit section of each of the first to the n-th logic circuits is connected to the input of the first logic circuit section of the post stage logic circuit.

摘要: A fuel cell system for directly converting chemical energy of a fuel into electric energy electrochemically. A fuel cell has a cathode and an anode. A main hydrogen absorbing alloy supplies a hydrogen gas to the anode of the fuel cell during steady-state operation of the system. An auxiliary hydrogen absorbing alloy originally having a higher hydrogen gas absorbing/desorbing equilibrium pressure than the main hydrogen absorbing alloy at an equal temperature supplies a hydrogen gas to the anode until the equilibrium pressure of the main hydrogen absorbing alloy, which is supplied an exhaust gas from the fuel cell is equal to a hydrogen gas absorbing/desorbing equilibrium pressure of the auxiliary hydrogen absorbing alloy, the auxiliary hydrogen absorbing alloy receiving the hydrogen gas from the main hydrogen absorbing alloy during steady-state operation.

摘要: A cartridge handling device for loading and unloading a cartridge accommodating a magnetic tape, magnetic disk or similar recording medium from a processor which is operable with the cartridge. A support plate is reciprocatingly movable in the intended direction of movement of the cartridge toward the processor while extending perpendicularly to that direction. A pair of latch mechanisms are rotatable about individual latch shafts which are studded vertically on the support plate, in order to latch the cartridge when the cartridge is transported. A pair of one-way guide mechanisms are individually associated with the latch mechanisms for controlling the rotation of the latter.
