    摘要: A DC-DC converter includes first and second capacitors coupled in parallel, a switching part for controlling the first and second capacitors so that the first capacitor is charged by an input voltage and the second capacitor is charged by a discharging of the first capacitor, an output voltage being obtained at one end of the second capacitor, and the switching part including a discharge path through which the second capacitor is discharged. An output voltage detection units detects the output voltage and determines whether or not the output voltage satisfies a predetermined condition. A discharge path breaking units breakes the discharge path when the output voltage detection unit determines that the output voltage satisfies the predetermined condition, so that the first capacitor is prevented from being discharged through discharge path.

    摘要: The DC-DC converter is disclosed, which has an output terminal connected to an external load, and produces a desired output voltage at the output terminal. An output capacitor in the converter has a first electrode connected to the output terminal and a second electrode. The charge/discharge regulator controls electrical connection between a DC power supply and the output capacitor to permit the capacitor to be charged or discharged. The DC-DC converter includes a first detecting circuit for detecting a change in the output voltage at the output terminal, and a second detecting circuit for detecting a variable load current flowing into the converter from the load via the output terminal. A voltage control circuit is provided in the converter, and controls a potential of the second electrode of the capacitor in such a manner as to nullify a variation in the output voltage, based on a result of detection of the output voltage by the first detecting circuit and on a result of detection of the load current by the second detecting circuit.

    摘要: A current charged into or discharged from a phase-compensating capacitor C1 in an output circuit is controlled by a level shift circuit so that the current is kept constant for input signals inputted to the input terminals IN+ and IN- of a differential amplifier circuit, and also a current charged into or discharged from a phase-compensating capacitor C2 is controlled by the current correcting circuit so that the current become equal to a constant current controlled by the level shift circuit, namely to a current charged into or discharged from the phase-compensating capacitor C1. Therefore, even if a quickly rising or falling signal is inputted into the differential amplifier circuit, the MOS transistor MP11 or MN11 is not set in an offset state, which prevents generation of an overshoot or an undershot in the output terminal.

    摘要: A DC-DC converter prevents through current from flowing in an output transistor. A first transistor receives an input voltage. A second transistor is connected to the first transistor. A comparator is connected to the second transistor. The comparator detects current flowing through a choke coil based on the potential difference between two terminals of the second transistor to generate a switching control signal for turning the second transistor on and off. The second transistor and the comparator form an ideal diode. A control circuit of the DC-DC converter generates an activation signal for turning the first transistor on and off based on a pulse signal to keep an output voltage constant. A through current prevention pulse generation circuit generates a pulse signal for turning off the second transistor from before the first transistor is turned on to after the first transistor is turned on.
