    摘要: An object of the present invention is to reduce power consumption in a plasma display panel (PDP) by reducing the discharge firing voltage, while suppressing the occurrence of discharge variability when the PDP is driven, as well as ensuring the wall-charge holding performance of a protective film surface. To achieve this, a front panel of a PDP of the present invention has a catalyst layer dispersed on a surface of display electrodes formed in stripes on one side of a glass substrate, and needle crystals composed of graphite formed to stand upright on the catalyst layer. The needle crystals form a phase-separated structure with the materials of a dielectric film and a protective film.

    摘要: A gas discharge display panel exhibits a favorable display performance by increasing a wall charge retaining property, controlling a discharge delay for optimal image display, and reducing the discharge starting voltage. A PDP can exhibit enhanced display quality by improving a secondary electron emission factor γ compared to conventional cases and lowering the discharge starting voltage to widen the driving margin. A manufacturing method for a gas discharge display panel can reduce the exhaustion time in the sealing exhaustion process, and driving circuit component costs are reduced. In a gas discharge display panel, a protective layer includes a first and a second protective film, the second protective film is formed on at a least part of a surface of the first protective film. The first protective film has a larger impurity content than the second protective film.

    摘要: An in-vehicle apparatus selects, as a profile connection mode, one connection mode out of a first connection mode and a second connection mode, and performs profile connection using the selected one connection mode. The first connection mode is to transmit a profile connection request signal to a communication partner so as to start a connection procedure; the second connection mode is to wait for reception of a profile connection request signal from the communication partner for a predetermined time so as to start the connection procedure. When the profile connection using the selected one connection mode fails, a connection procedure using the other connection mode that was not selected previously is started. When the profile connection using the other connection mode is successful, upon occurrence of a next profile connection request, the other connection mode is selected as a profile connection mode.

By using such a profile connection scheme, the AVP connection attempt will not be delayed until after a connection attempt of the other data communication type profile.
