Also provided are the polyimide which can give a polyimide composition that, besides having such excellent material properties, is capable of having a controlled surface resistivity, and a polyamic acid composition useful as a raw material therefor. The polyimide is a highly water-repellent polyimide for copier members which is obtained using one or more acid dianhydrides and one or more diamine compounds, and is characterized in that at least one of the acid dianhydrides and the diamine compounds is a compound having an ether bond and/or a thioether bond in the molecule and that the total number of ether bonds and thioether bonds in the repeating unit constituting the polyimide and derived from the acid dianhydrides and the diamine compounds is 2 or larger.

摘要: Disclosed is a centering device of a spindle motor. The centering device includes a body portion which is disposed on the rotor of the spindle motor, and which is provided with a central hole for accommodating the shaft of the spindle motor; and a plurality of centering elastic finger units, located along the periphery of the body portion. Each centering elastic finger unit includes at least two elastic fingers. Each elastic finger includes a free end which extends from the body portion in the circumferential direction of the rotor, and which has a contact portion adapted to urge against an optical disk to guide the centering of the optical disk with respect to the shaft of the spindle motor. Preferably, the contact portion is formed into an arc surface so as to reduce the contact area and thus the friction between the elastic fingers and the disk.

摘要: Provided is a display device with photosensors that can achieve a scanner function without increasing the memory capacity for images. A display device with photosensors includes a visible light source and an invisible light source. The display device with photosensors further includes: a first photosensor that detects the amount of received light in a pixel region when the invisible light source is on; a second optical sensor that detects the amount of received light in the pixel region when the invisible light source is off; and a third photosensor that detects the amount of received light reflected from an object to be scanned, causing only display pixels respectively nearest to the third photosensors within a prescribed range in the pixel region to be in a display state, and causing other pixels in the prescribed range to be in a non-display state. Data obtained from the third photosensor is stored in a memory (205) including a region (205a) that stores therein first reference data obtained when the invisible light source is on, and a region (205b) that stores therein second reference data obtained when the invisible light source is off.

摘要: In a display device with optical sensors, a recognition processing portion (22) performs recognition processing on a scan picture generated by optical sensors (2), and calculates a position. A mode control portion (24) determines whether or not the mode is standby so that the recognition processing portion (22) is stopped from operating. At the time of transition to the standby mode, decimated image memory (25) stores a decimated image with a decreased number of pixels. The mode control portion (24) performs pixel-by-pixel comparison between the stored decimated image and a decimated image supplied anew, and exits the standby mode when the number of pixels whose difference in pixel values is greater than or equal to a first threshold is greater than or equal to a second threshold. Here, the first and second thresholds are appropriately set in accordance with an ambient luminance L from a luminance sensor (20), and therefore, any change in the image can be accurately distinguished from noise, thereby preventing the standby mode from being or not being cancelled by mistake.
