    摘要: A brake controlling apparatus in an electric vehicle comprising a hydraulic brake including a fluid pressure generating and applying device having a characteristic in which the fluid consumption rises in the fluid-pressure range of 0 to P.sub.0, and brakes the driving wheels by the fluid pressure of the fluid pressure applying device. A regenerative brake brakes the driving wheels by the regeneration of the power of a driving motor. A fluid flow cut-off device cuts off the flow of hydraulic fluid from the fluid pressure generating device to the fluid pressure applying device when the fluid pressure of the fluid pressure generating device exceeds P.sub.0. A fluid flow inducing device induces the flow of hydraulic fluid from the fluid pressure generating device to the fluid pressure applying device while maintaining the pressure difference between the fluid pressure generating and applying devices when the pressure difference exceeds .DELTA.P.sub.r. A fluid consuming device consumes the hydraulic fluid of the fluid pressure generating device with the characteristic approximate to the fluid consumption characteristic of the fluid pressure applying device when the fluid flow inducing device is inoperative. A regenerative braking controlling device controls the regenerative brake in correspondence with the pressure difference between the fluid pressure generating device and the fluid pressure applying device. The fluid consumption characteristic seen from the fluid pressure generating device is substantially the same as the fluid consumption characteristic of the fluid pressure applying device.

    摘要: A brake pressure control system for a wheeled vehicle includes a swingable lever pivotally mounted at a first end portion thereof to a sprung mass of the vehicle such as a body frame, a first tension coil spring connected at a first end thereof to the sprung mass and at a second end thereof to a second end portion of the swingable lever to bias the lever toward the sprung mass, a second tension coil spring connected at a first end thereof to an unsprung mass of the vehicle such as a wheel axle and at a second end thereof to the second end portion of the swingable lever to bias the lever against the biasing force of the first spring, a bushing rotatably mounted on the second end portion of the swingable lever, the bushing being formed with a first support portion for retaining the second end of the first spring and a second support portion for retaining the second end of the second spring, and a modulator valve secured to the sprung mass and incorporated in a hydraulic connection between a master cylinder and a wheel brake cylinder, the modulator valve having a spring-loaded valve member which is carried on the swingable lever to be applied with a biasing force proportional to the vehicle load.

    摘要: A brake control system mounted in an electrical vehicle for controlling a hydraulic brake and a regenerative brake. The hydraulic brake generates a hydraulic pressure depending on an amount of depression of a brake pedal so as to mechanically brake at least drive wheels. The regenerative brake brakes the drive wheels due to a regeneration of a running motor. A reducing valve is provided in a hydraulic pressure transmission path to the drive wheels to be braked by the hydraulic brake. The reducing valve is opened when the hydraulic pressure genrated in a cylinder is at least a valve open value to allow a hydraulic pressure transmission to drive wheel pipings. An ECU calculates a regenerative torque command value depending on a pressure difference between the front and rear of the reducing valve, detected by a sensor, and controls the regenerative brake on the basis of the regenerative torque command value. In turn, a liquid amount corresponding to the hydraulic pressure cut off by the reducing valve is consumed with a similar characteristic to the hydraulic brake by a stroke simulator.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a brake control system for an electrically operated vehicle, which is adapted to reduce a regenerative braking torque and add a hydraulic braking force. A motor control unit is provided for controlling an electric motor to apply a rotating force to a wheel and apply the regenerative braking torque to the wheel. A pressure control device is provided for controlling a hydraulic braking pressure generated by a pressure generator in response to operation of a manually operated braking member, and supplied to a wheel brake cylinder, which is operatively mounted on the wheel for applying a hydraulic braking force to the wheel. The regenerative braking torque is reduced in response to a braking condition monitored by a monitor. A pressure difference is detected between the hydraulic braking pressure of the brake fluid discharged from the pressure generator and the hydraulic braking pressure in the wheel brake cylinder. And, a characteristic of the regenerative braking torque to be reduced is modified in response to the pressure difference, to compensate for lack of regenerative braking torque by the hydraulic braking force, smoothly.
