    摘要: There are provided a sound generator with less peaks and dips in sound-pressure frequency characteristics, and a sound-generating apparatus which employs the sound generator. A sound generator and a sound-generating apparatus using the same are provided, wherein the sound generator includes at least a vibration plate, and a plurality of piezoelectric elements attached to the vibration plate so as to be spaced from each other to cause the vibration plate to vibrate. The plurality of piezoelectric elements includes piezoelectric elements having at least two different thicknesses. The piezoelectric elements having at least two different thicknesses are disposed in two directions that cross each other in a main surface of the vibration plate. Accordingly, it is possible to achieve a sound generator, as well as a sound-generating apparatus which have less peaks and dips in sound-pressure frequency characteristics.

    摘要: There are provided a sound generator with less peaks and dips in sound-pressure frequency characteristics, and a sound-generating apparatus which employs the sound generator.     摘要: A method for identifying resistance of a rice plant to rice blast is provided. More particularly, a method for identifying resistance of a rice plant to rice blast by testing a genotype of the rice genome using a DNA marker (G271), which is closely linked to a gene controlling the field resistance to rice blast, is disclosed. The disclosed invention allows for evaluation of the field resistance of a rice plant to rice blast using a DNA marker, thereby allowing for a resistant variety to be conveniently and accurately selected. The disclosed invention contributes to reducing the time and labor that have conventionally been required for cross breeding, and is useful in developing novel rice varieties having a high degree of field resistance to rice blast.

    摘要: The present inventors succeeded in isolating the rice field resistance gene pi21 by linkage analysis, and found that field resistance to blast in plants could be modified by introducing or controlling the expression of the gene. Thus, it became possible to efficiently confer plants with field resistance. It also became possible to select, at an early stage, rice plants having field resistance to blast. Moreover, by changing the tissue specificity of expression and the expression level of the gene involved in field resistance, varieties having resistance as well as high practical use can be grown.
