    摘要: This low profile electromagnetic relay includes a base and a support post protruding at one end of the base. An electromagnet assembly is mounted in a generally central position on the base, and has a pair of magnetic pole surfaces on opposite sides of its one end. An armature assembly includes an insulating armature member, shaped generally as a hollow rectangular member with an open space being defined within it and formed with a hole by which it is rotatably fitted over the support post with the electromagnet assembly fitting inside the open space defined within it. A drive portion is connected to the insulating armature member. A pair of mutually opposed armature pieces are mounted on the insulating armature member, and, when the insulating armature member is rotatably fitted over the support post, lie on opposite sides of the one end of the electromagnet assembly and each oppose one of the magnetic pole surfaces of the electromagnet assembly. A permanent magnet member is mounted so as to bridge between the pair of mutually opposed armature pieces. And a contact mechanism is fitted to the base and is driven by the drive portion of the insulating armature member. Thereby the height of the relay is minimized, and the stability of its action is assured.

    摘要: An electromagnetic relay comprising a fixed end terminal piece including a main part, a narrowed portion extending therefrom, and a relatively broader mounting portion formed at a free end of the narrowed portion and carrying a fixed contact thereon. Since a strong magnetic field in generated by the concentration of electric current in the narrowed portion, and an electric arc generated across the contacts is subjected to a corresponding electromagnetic force according to Fleming's left-hand rule, the arc is either eliminated or deflected from the shortest path between the two contacts, and the welding together of the two contacts is effectively prevented. Also, the durability of the contacts is substantially improved through deflection or elimination of the arc.

    摘要: An interface device which is provided with a DC-DC converter and a power output terminal so that the internal circuit of the interface device and the external equipment may share a common power source in spite of their different power supply requirements, and the wiring connection between the interface device and the external equipment may be simplified. In particular, if the interface device is configured as a terminal base and coupled to the controller via serial transmission line, a significant simplification of the wiring between different parts of the controller system can be accomplished. If the power terminals include positive and negative power output terminals arranged in an alternating fashion, and the power terminals and the signal lead terminals are arranged in two different rows, preferably, in staggered relationship, the leads from different pieces of external equipment may be clustered close to each other, and the external wiring work is extremely simplified. This contributes to the elimination of wiring errors and the reduction in the cost of installing and controller system.
