摘要： High-sensitivity transmission can be performed in a wide temperature range, and spread spectrum communication free from jitters and bit errors in high-speed digital signal transmission can be performed. There is provided a spread spectrum communication transmitter for performing FSK modulation for switching the frequency in correspondence with the level of each bit of the serial digital data, performing spread spectrum modulation of a resultant FSK-modulated signal, and transmitting the data, wherein an FSK modulation unit (1) for performing the FSK modulation has a direct digital synthesizer and a synchronization circuit (19) is arranged to synchronize an FSK signal having a frequency corresponding to at least one level of the each bit with a PN code for the spread spectrum modulation.

摘要： An electrophotographic image forming apparatus including a developing unit operable with a one- or two-ingredient type developer and a device for replenishing toner to the developing unit included in the apparatus are disclosed. A plurality of toner bottles are accommodated in the toner replenishing device, so that the toner is replenished from one toner bottle to the developing unit. A rotating mechanism causes all the toner bottles to rotate during toner replenishment. A device is provided for determining the frequency of use of the individual toner bottle. The toner discharged from each toner bottle is fed to a toner transport portion via a respective passageway.

摘要： A remote control transmitter used for a switching of a state of a door lock device between a locked state and an unlocked state and so on comprises a portable-size case, operating buttons provided on an outer surface of the case, a secondary battery provided within the case, a solar battery provided on the outer surface of the case and rechargeably connected to the secondary battery, and a generator for generating a coded signal. One terminal of each operating button is connected to a positive terminal of the secondary battery and the other terminal is connected to a positive terminal of the generator. When one of the operating buttons is pushed, electric current is fed from the secondary battery to the generator.

摘要： A powder conveying device includes: a conveying nozzle, provided with a powder receiving opening; an open/close member to open/close the powder receiving opening; a flange provided to the open/close member; a biasing member to bias the open/close member; and a container setting section to which a part of a powder container is to be fit. The powder container includes: a conveyor to convey the powder from a second end of the powder container to a first end; a container opening protruding from the first end; a nozzle receiving opening into which the conveying nozzle is to be inserted; and a butting portion provided in the container opening, to butt against the flange. When the powder container is attached to the powder conveying device, the container opening is fitted to the container setting section, and the flange and the biasing member are housed in an inner space of the container opening.

The printer has a feeder, a transport mechanism for moving the sheet the print head, and a stacker to receive the printed sheet. Differential air pressure is applied by a suction box disposed in proximity to a conveyer belt for transporting the sheet. The suction box may sized so that the sheet may be oriented with a long dimension in the direction of feeding. Where multiple print heads are used, the print heads overlap in the direction transverse to the motion of the sheet so that an image larger than a print head may be produced. Two printing mechanisms disposed opposite each other may be used to print two sides of a sheet.

摘要： In the control of the operation of a power plant including a gas turbine power generating unit, a main boiler whose heat source is exhaust gas of the gas turbine and which supplies steam to a heat load, a back-up boiler which has an independent fuel system and which is operated to supply steam to the heat load when the quantity of supply of steam of the main boiler to the load is insufficient, and a heat exchanger which is disposed in a boiler feeding system common to the main boiler and the back-up boiler and which receives excess steam or condensed water as discharged from the heat load and heats feed water, a method of operating a power plant and apparatus therefor comprising a circulating pipe for connecting a steam generating portion of the back-up boiler and the heat exchanger and for causing boiler feed water to flow from the back-up boiler back to the heat exchanger even during shutdown of the back-up boiler, and valve means disposed in the circulating pipe and adapted to be shut when a condition of the generating steam of the main boiler for the heat load is insufficient and when the back-up boiler is operated, whereby the temperature of the steam generating portion of the back-up boiler is held at above a predetermined temperature even during the shutdown of the back-up boiler.
