摘要: A method is for determining a patient-adjusted breast compression in mammography. In an embodiment of the method, input data including individual, person-related data of a female patient, is determined. Furthermore, an adjusted individual compression point is determined by applying a function, trained by an algorithm based on machine learning, to the input data. The adjusted individual compression point is generated as the output data. Other embodiments include a method for providing a trained function; a breast compression determining device; a training device; and a mammography system.

摘要: An x-ray tube includes an electron emitter to emit an electron beam; and a multilayer anode including a first anode layer facing the electron beam and a second anode layer facing away from the electron beam. The first anode layer includes a first anode material to generate a braking radiation via the electron beam and the second anode layer includes a second anode material to generate a further x-ray radiation via the braking radiation. The further x-ray radiation is relatively more monochromatic than the braking radiation and wherein the first anode layer and the second anode layer adjoin in a planar manner.

摘要: A method is for determining orthogonal slice image data sets of a tomosynthesis recording of an examination region. In an embodiment, the method includes recording a tomosynthesis recording and reconstructing a plurality of first slice image data sets in a first plane based upon the tomosynthesis recording; selecting a first slice image data set from the plurality of first slice image data sets; marking a microcalcification or a region of interest with a punctiform marking in the first slice image data set selected; and determining, from a second slice image data set in a second plane orthogonal to the first plane, and from a third slice image data set in a third plane orthogonal to the first plane and the second plane, wherein a point of intersection of the first plane, the second plane and the third plane includes the punctiform marking.

摘要: A method and an x-ray apparatus for interferometric 2D x-ray imaging, use a Talbot-Lau interferometer having at least one phase grating and an analysis grating for producing 2D images of an object to be examined using a phase stepping method. A stepwise readout of a detector is carried out continuously at a multiplicity of the phase positions of an interference pattern. Time sequences of readout interval data records which overlap in time are extracted from the readout data records, and at least one result image data record is calculated from an absorption image and/or a phase-contrast image and/or a dark-field image from each readout interval data record.

The breast of the patient is positionable in the breast locating region. Further, the integrated ultrasound transducer is oriented in a direction of the breast locating region.

摘要: In an apparatus and associated method, by analyzing video images of compression of a breast of a patient in a compression unit, an actual contact-area of the tissue of the breast of the patient, which tissue is pushed onto a gauze of a compression element of the compression unit, is increased by changing a volume. As such, a pressure is increased, in at least one sub-chamber of a positioning unit integrated in the compression unit, such that the actual contact-area matches a first area, which is the maximum possible based on an outer contour of the breast.
