摘要: A medical imaging system is provided. Imaging detector columns are installed in a gantry to receive imaging information about a subject. Imaging detector columns can extend and retract radially as well as be rotated orbitally around the gantry. The system can automatically adjust setup configuration and an imaging operation based on subject shape estimation information.

摘要: An image obtainment unit obtains plural radiographic-images generated by arranging plural storable-phosphor-sheets in such a manner that at least portions of the sheets are overlapped with each other in an irradiation direction of radiation, by arranging a marker at a position to be detected by the plural sheets, and by detecting the radiation that has passed through a subject and the marker by each of the plural sheets. A first-information obtainment unit obtains first-information representing a distance between detection surfaces of the plural sheets. A second-information obtainment unit obtains second-information representing a magnification ratio of a second marker image of the marker included in a radiographic-image obtained by a second sheet with respect to a marker image of the marker included in a radiographic-image obtained by a first sheet of the plural sheets. A distance calculation unit calculates, based on the first and the second information, a radiation-source-to-image-surface distance.

摘要: A radiography apparatus includes a radiation source, a radiation detector, and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to obtain an X-ray image of an object, obtain a focal spot size of a radiation source used to generate the obtained X-ray image, and estimate a magnification of the obtained X-ray image. The processing circuitry is also configured to obtain, using a look-up table and the obtained focal spot size, a deconvolution kernel. The processing circuitry is also configured to generate a corrected X-ray image by performing a deconvolution operation on the obtained X-ray image using the obtained deconvolution kernel and the estimated magnification.

摘要: A mobile radiography system is disclosed, which includes a radiation source for radiating a plurality of beams; a detector for detecting the plurality of beams from the radiation source; a controller for determining an angular difference between the radiation source and the detector; and a positioning device mounted with the radiation source for recognizing a position of the detector relative to the radiation source based on the angular difference between the radiation source and the detector to align the radiation source to the detector. A method of aligning a mobile radiography system including a radiation source and a detector is also disclosed.

摘要: A breast imaging apparatus includes a radiation generation unit configured to generate radiation and a radiation detection unit configured to detect radiation irradiation from the radiation generation unit and can rotate the radiation generation unit and the radiation detection unit in a state in which they face each other. Imaging is performed in a state in which a body part (breast) of an object to be imaged is sandwiched by a pressing panel on a first side of the breast imaging apparatus. In addition, imaging is performed while rotating the radiation generation unit and the radiation detection unit in a state in which the body part (breast) of the object to be imaged is inserted between the radiation generation unit and the radiation detection unit from a second side opposite to the first side of the breast imaging apparatus.

摘要: According to an embodiment, an X-ray CT system includes a gantry, a first couch, a second couch, a carrier unit, and control circuitry. The gantry includes an X-ray tube, an X-ray detector, and an operation unit. The first couch is arranged in a first room. The second couch is arranged in a second room. When carrying the gantry to the first room, the carrier unit arranges the gantry in an orientation in which the front side of the gantry faces the first couch. When carrying the gantry to the second room, the carrier unit arranges the gantry in an orientation in which the back side of the gantry faces the second couch. The control circuitry controls the direction of the tilt movement of the gantry in accordance with the room where the gantry is arranged.

摘要: A mobile X-ray apparatus for medical examination includes an apparatus for producing X-ray images having a digital Radiography detector positioned at a first spatial position, an X-ray tube assembly positionable at a second spatial position relative to the first spatial position, sensor(s) for providing the first spatial position and/or the second spatial position, a control unit for receiving the first and/or the second spatial position(s) from the at least one sensor and for controlling the first or second spatial position for alignment of the X-ray tube assembly with the detector based on the first and second spatial positions, a drive wheel, a base, optionally an elevating column, and a telescopic arm which is rotatable into a direction perpendicular to a driving direction of the base. The apparatus is controllable to drive along a patient table and/or the X-ray tube assembly is height adjustable in front of a wall stand, for alignment.
