    摘要: A fluid dispenser is disclosed herein. An example of such a fluid dispenser includes a member configured to define a plurality of orifices through which a fluid is ejected and a manifold including a plurality of fluid passageways each of which is configured to have a different angle relative to the member. This example of a fluid dispenser additionally includes a plurality of slots each of which is coupled to a different one of the fluid passageways of the manifold to conduct the fluid from the fluid passageways towards the orifices. Additional features and modifications of this fluid dispenser are disclosed herein, as are other examples of fluid dispensers.

    摘要: A wide-array inkjet printhead assembly with a shroud includes a backbone, an array of die in which the die are mounted on die carriers. The die carriers are attached to the backbone and include support features. The shroud includes a capping surface, with a surface profile that deviates from a reference plane by more than a target deviation. The support features interface with and support an undersurface of shroud such that the capping surface of the shroud, when biased against the support features, deviates from the reference plane by no more than the target deviation.

    摘要: A wide-array inkjet printhead assembly with die carriers includes a backbone which delivers fluid through a manifold with a number of openings. The openings are spaced apart according to a opening pitch. A plurality of inkjet die includes trenches with a trench pitch which is smaller than the opening pitch. A plurality of die carriers include a plurality of oblique tapered channels, with one end of the oblique tapered channels having pitch matching the opening pitch and interfacing with the backbone and the opposite end of the oblique tapered channels having a pitch matching the trench pitch and interfacing with the inkjet die. A method for assembling a wide-array inkjet printhead assembly is also described.

    摘要: In one embodiment a method of making an electrostatic actuator includes: forming a first conductor over a first substrate to form a first structure; forming a flexible second conductor over a second substrate to form a second structure; forming an etch stop over the first conductor as part of the first structure or over the second conductor as part of the second structure; forming a spacer on the etch stop, the spacer selectively etchable with respect to the etch stop; etching the spacer through to the etch stop at a location of a gap between the first conductor and the second conductor; and bonding the first structure and the second structure together such that the first conductor is located opposite the second conductor across the gap.
