Abstract: Provided is a technique that allows high-accuracy electrical measurement without the influence of blood sedimentation in a case where various measurements or evaluations are performed using blood samples containing a blood cell component and a plasma component. Provided is an electrical measurement method for electrically measuring a blood sample including at least a blood cell component and a plasma component, the electrical measurement method including the step of adding a blood sedimentation inhibitor to the blood sample. Also provided is a blood sedimentation inhibitor for use in electrical measurement of a blood sample including at least a blood cell component and a plasma component, the blood sedimentation inhibitor including a non-cationic water-soluble compound and being capable of increasing specific gravity and/or viscosity of the plasma component.

Abstract: A blood state analysis device (1) that analyzes a state of a blood sample, as used for clotting time testing, said blood sample comprising a plasma and at least one reagent, including a correction unit (11) configured to correct a measured blood coagulation evaluation result of the blood sample based on a relation between reference concentrations of the at least one reagent in plasma and reference blood coagulation evaluation results, the at least one reagent is an anticoagulation treatment releasing agent, a coagulation activator, an anticoagulant, a platelet activator, an antiplatelet drug, or a combination thereof and is present in the blood sample. For instance, such device (1) allows to correct blood clotting time results with respect to concentrations of an anti-coagulant drug present in the blood sample.

Abstract: Provided is a microbead analysis method for a microbead. The microbead is formed in a columnar shape having a top surface and a bottom surface facing each other, as placed almost in parallel, and a side surface extending therefrom, and carries an identification pattern formed on at least one of the top surface and the bottom surface and a substance immobilized on a surface thereof having affinity to an analyte substance. The method includes detecting fluorescence emitted from the microbead surface due to interaction of the analyte substance with the substance having affinity to the analyte substance from a region including a region of the top surface and the bottom surface where there is no identification pattern formed and the side surface.
