摘要: An absorbent article for one-time use only, such as a disposable diaper, incontinence guard, sanitary napkin, panty protector or the like, includes at least one hose-like fold (20, 20', 21, 21') which extends in the transverse and/or longitudinal direction of the article. Mounted in the fold (20, 20', 21, 21') are mutually spaced elastic elements (32, 32', 33, 33') which are fastened to respective end parts (27, 27', 28, 28') of the fold on respective sides of fold lines (24, 25) which depart from the upper casing layer (1) of the article, although these elastic elements (32, 32', 33, 33') are freely moveable in the intermediate part (29, 29') of the fold. The end-parts (27, 27', 28, 28') of the fold are joined to the upper casing layer (1) in a flat, permanently down-pressed state, whereas the intermediate fold part (29, 29') is forcibly lifted vertically by the action of the elastic elements (32, 32', 33, 33') as the article is fitted to the wearer and consequently curved, so as to form leakage barriers along the side edges and/or the end edges (4-7) of the article.

摘要: An image processing method and to an arrangement for implementing the method. The method includes filtering the original image with a low-pass filter for forming a low-pass filtered image, creating a high-pass filtered image by subtracting the low-pass filtered image from the original image, forming intermediate values from the created high-pass filtered image based on column-wise selection of pixel values in the suppression of column noise and row-wise selection of pixel values in the suppression of row noise, and subtracting formed intermediate values column-by-column and row-by-row from the original image. The arrangement includes a non-linear, one-dimensional digital finite impulse response filter, a computing unit for column-wise or row-wise formation of intermediate values, an image storage unit and a subtraction unit.

摘要: Disclosed is are a system and a method for accepting user input in the form of movement of an object against a surface of a electronic device. The movement may take the form of natural writing-style stokes that generate corresponding vibrations. The vibrations may be sensed and analyzed to ascertain meaningful user input. In one approach, a method of processing user input with an electronic device includes sensing vibrations generated by movement of an object against a surface of the electronic device and analyzing signals representative of the sensed vibrations to determine a meaningful user input.

摘要: The present invention is directed towards solving the problem of providing additional information to a user of a telecommunication device (100,42) during setting up of a telecommunication connection, by presenting a media file to the first end user in depence of signal information directed towards the first end user. A method therefore comprises receiving selecting of a second user from the first end user (step 302), setting up the telecommunication connection from the first end user to the second user (step 306), providing a media file (step 304), receiving a first signal information related to alerting the second user (step 308), and presenting the media file to the first end user in dependence of receiving the first signal information (step 312), such that the first end user can receive an enhanced experience during the setting up of the telecommunication connection.

摘要: To facilitate social interaction through chat rooms, described are a system and a method for identifying and/or creating chat rooms that correspond to an operational context of a user's electronic device. Various conditions may be monitored and evaluated to identify a correlation between the states of two conditions. Upon such identification, a search may be made for a corresponding chat room. If a corresponding chat room is found, an offer to enter the chat room may be offered to the user. If a corresponding chat room is not identified, the user may be offered an opportunity to create a chat room for a topic corresponding to the correlating conditions.
